  1. Hello I remember seeing a thread on here a little while ago, with some really useful tips about where to stay in Disneyland Paris, but after running a search cannot seem to find it. We're thinking about taking our daughter next Summer (she will be nearly 5) and would be grateful of any recommendations/places to avoid. Thanks.
  2. We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded ?26,542.68 by NatWest Skills & Opportunities Fund for our Take Two programme. A HUGE thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us, we really appreciate it. These funds will enable us to deliver vocational skills to young people for a whole academic year.
  3. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has voted for us on the RBS Skills & Opportunities funding site. Voting has now closed and we will let you know the outcome. But we do still need your help! Our inter-generational group that we are running for isolated seniors and young people who haven't done so well at school has been shortlisted for another public voting campaign The Aviva Community Fund. This one is hugely competitive and we are up against some very big organisations so we desperately need your support. You can vote for us here: https://www.avivacommunityfund.co.uk/voting/project/view/16-1438 either by creating an account or by using your Facebook account. Thank you again for the fantastic support you have given us so far and watch this space for more news. With all your help Young Lewisham Project will continue to do its amazing work for another 40 years, despite the never ending cuts!
  4. Thanks so much for your kind words, Dulwich Fox. We're so pleased to hear that The Young Lewisham Project helped you out all those years ago! We're still teaching motorbike maintenance to young people today from our premises on Kilmorie Road (Forest Hill) but also now offer bike maintenance, woodworking/upcycling, independent living skills and gardening workshops to help young people who haven't done so well at school, learn new skills and obtain alternative academic qualifications. Please do get in touch, if you'd like to pop in and see what we're up to these days.
