Afternoon all, Slightly leftfield 1 this, but here goes. I'm making low budget short film that requires a retractable car aerial (the old school type) to be fitted to some ear defenders. Can anyone help? I guess it'd require drilling a hole in the ear defenders, inserting the aerial and sticking it in place with some kind of glue. I can't pay industry rates, but I can supply the parts, give you a credit in the film and enough dosh for a few pints at your leisure. Not much, but then again it'd take the right person about 10 mins to do. Are you out there? Sam.

Hello all, My name's Sam and I've lived in ED for over 10 years now. I've recently set up a comedy night just down the road in Peckham and wanted to invite YOU. All, I'm taking a comedy show to a bunch of comedy festivals this year (Bath, Brighton, Edinburgh, Cardiff amongst others) and I need to practise it on a stage. For that reason I'm at The Old Nun's Head on Nunhead Green, SE15, this Weds (11th Feb) at 19.30. Hello all, I was hoping to get some advice from kind EDF members. I'm a comic who lives in ED and have just finished writing a comedy show I'll be doing at Festivals around the country this year including my 2nd full run at Edinburgh. I was wondering if you guys could suggest venues in ED, Peckham, Forest Hill that I might try and get a room to do some previews? Many thanks, Sam.

Dear fellow East Dulwichians (is that really a word?) My pal Gavin and me are taking a show up to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in August and we're doing some previews around London. The first of which is at The Patch pub on 18th May at 8pm. Being the first one we'll be a touch rough around the edges, but we aren't bad comics, it's free and you'll be supporting one of yours getting ready to go up to the biggest arts festival in the world.
