Hi all, No ED I know, but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on Sydenham. My wife and I are potentially looking at buying there and I hoped that some of you lovely lot could help me out a bit. Are there any parts to avoid/aim for (apart from the Thorpes - my budget won't stretch that far)? Has anyone moved there recently? What's it like? I keep seeing good things and the "up and coming" gambit thrown around a lot. Any info would be amazing. Thank you

Have you not tried Dulwich Tandoori? That's a favourite of mine in ED. Service is perfect. Food is delicious and prices are very reasonable.

I'm like you, I'm very sceptical of garages, but these guys were friendly and honest. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them if I needed anything doing.

driving to dry the car is ridiculous. Also, I'm not too sure how wheel spinning, speeding around a car park and doing handbrake turns really aids in the drying process...

They started delivery on Friday, Saturday and Sunday a little while ago. I didn't know they delivered on a Friday until last week when I went to pick some pizzas up and they were loading the car up with a delivery

I can't recommend Il Mirto enough. They are great pizzas!! If they're good enough for Richard Ayoade, they're good enough for me! Best pizza I've had outside of Italy! FYI It is cash only!

I only used the one at Champion Hill stadium once, then I saw how they joyride cars around the car park. I now use the one on Evelina Road under the railway bridge. I find they do a really good job.

I'm not sure which person there is the manager, but it doesn't seem like anybody there particularly cares. If it only happened once, then I wouldn't have mentioned it, however, it's a regular occurrence. I think people need to be aware that their possessions (very expensive ones at that) are being treated with such disregard. I've seen them joy riding around on lots of occasions. I will film it next time and inform the police.

Hi all, Just something to be aware of, if you're going to get your car washed at the hand wash at the stadium, I would strongly advise doing it while you're still with your car, rather than leaving it there while you go shopping. I have seen on many occasions, the cars finished being cleaned then driven around the car park like its a race track. Wheel spinning, doing handbrake turns and nearly crashing into other parked cars. They also blast music out of the stereos in the car which isn't good for the speakers either. I think it's only a matter of time before there is an accident, especially with how erratic the driving is, so please be aware your car is being driven like a banger racer while you're away.

I have a contract with Sky. It can sometimes be a little bit slower than I'd like, but that could be because we have several devices connected and using it at the same time. I had a problem about 12 months ago when it went down for a day, other than that, in 2 years, it's been great. Customer service has been very good too.

Hi All, Not sure if this is going to be the best place for this to go in, but I've recently moved to the area and now I'm all settled in, I'm looking to join a football team in the area. Saturday or Sunday league. I've been out of action for a couple of seasons due to injury and a car accident, so looking to get my fitness back and start playing again. I've played at a pretty decent level over the years (been playing for 23 now...) as a striker but can play anywhere on the field, wherever I'm needed. Like I said, fitness isn't what it was, but looking to get back out there, meet some new people, have a laugh and enjoy playing again. If anyone knows of any in the area, it would be great to hear. BT Sport have confirmed that they are going to be showing it free to air, so if you get the BT sport channel on your freeview, you will be able to watch it. Alternatively, I know the Duke of Sussex in Peckham will be showing it and they will allow kids in there.

They had the semi-final on, so I would assume they will show it.
