  1. There used to be a great family friendly display at Dulwich Sports Club in Herne Hill. I'm not sure if they still do it, but worth checking it out ...
  2. Geddes in forest hill is good for colour too. I usually have Jo.
  3. I have some items left over from baking my daughter's wedding cake. Dowels 3 large spring form pans 25cm Cardboard cake boxes for transporting Kenwood hand mixer 12" cake board Will exchange for a decent bottle of red wine.
  4. Morley college usually has very good courses for sewing and textiles.
  5. Bumping this post purely because this barely used, immaculate seat will sadly go to the dump this week and it's such a waste! If anyone wants it, I will drop it off (reasonable distance)
  6. Don't miss out on a bargain - barely used, super clean and free!
  7. Free car seat. For use age 15 months to 12 years. The seat is only a year old. Hardly used and very clean as it has been in grandparents car so only used occasionally. Good condition - no accidents. Instruction manual included. No longer needed as we have been given a seat with isofix base.
  8. It's not easy finding a cattery so if you do end up needing a cat sitter, I used London Cat Sitting for several months and they were very good. [email protected]
  9. They're very common in Deptford. We seem them all the time... It's interesting how bird populations are so different in such close areas.
  10. Sharp Works in Herne Hill have workshops. They're very good.
  11. There's a brilliant seamstress in Brockley. The business is called The Workshop. Sorry I can't seem to post a link from my phone. She did my daughter's wedding dress. I don't think there's much you do to repair jeans if they're too short though. The best you.might hope for is to even them out. Technically, they should be replaced but realistically, good luck with chasing that...
  12. The orangery at the fan museum in Greenwich ...
  13. Thank you for trying but I'd already looked at these and they collect from businesses/have a minimum weight donation. Thanks for the tip - very helpful. I'm hoping to take it down next week. Xx
  14. I've done this but haven't found one in Hackney that takes frozen food
  15. Cheers. I'll try calling them in the half term. Thank you. That's very kind of you but I'm bringing it over from Hackney!
