I wanted to recommend Benchmark Lofts as we’re absolutely delighted with the loft conversion which Benchmark did for us earlier this year. They are a local company and Tom and his team were superb - incredibly hard working, focussed on detail, helpful and cheery! A pleasure to have working at our house each day. We would thoroughly recommend Benchmark to anyone considering this type of work.

Another recommendation here for Critter Solutions for pest control issues. We have used them a few times and they are always quick to respond and pop round to the house as they are usually in the East Dulwich most weeks. We had a mouse/mice problem and they helped us solve it and came back when we were concerned that they may have reappeared, which was all included in the initial price.

We recently used Advanced Painters having received their flyer through our door and seen the good reviews on EDF. Brian was very responsive and we were very impressed by the quality and precision of our painter, Des. We had a two tone scheme so the precision of the line between the two colours was very important and Des did an excellent job. Would highly recommend and we are already planning to use them again to paint some wardrobes for us.

Hi, is there anything in particular that would be helpful?

Hi, my two year old daughter is about to start nursery which finishes at 6pm each day. I?m going to struggle to make pick up at that time and wondering what others do in the same situation. Ideally I would want someone to pick her up at 6pm and bring her home. I usually get in about 7pm so would only need an hour cover but wondering how likely it is that anyone would want to do only an hour a day. Has anyone had experience in finding someone To help with after nursery pick up? Thanks, Kelly

Long queues at the sorting office today as staff try to cope with a new operating system which doesn't seem to be working well. Despite getting there before opening at 8am I wasn't at the counter until 8:30am (there were only 9 people in front of me!). I wouldn't recommend going today unless you have to.

Hi James,do you have any update about Denmark Hill station? I know that with the ongoing problems with Southern it has been busier than usual but the station just doesn't seem to be able to cope with the number of people going through there each day. I saw some posts a few months ago about suggestions to add additional entraces and barriers but does that look like a possibility? Many thanks Kelly
