  1. -= title edited =- We've got a 30's semi we bought from a developer, he omitted to install outside lights or electricity to the garage. I'd like to get some fitted, probably one over the back door/decking area, then probably a couple to light the garden, and another to light the driveway/front of the garage (which is behind the house) Ideally all separately switched I'd also like to have internal & external sockets & lights fitted in the garage. There has previously been power in there, but the developer just cut the old wires (which were old) & rewired the main house with new cables. Any recommendations/advice would be appreciated! Rob
  2. We've just got some new wooden driveway gates that need fitting to the existing wooden posts. One post feels a little loose, so might need fixing as well. Anyone around who can do that? Or recommendations? Thanks R.
  3. There was an article related to this the other day, similar to what you're talking about: http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/0ee8990c-76a5-11e6-bf48-b372cdb1043a.html?siteedition=intl#axzz4KsTC5UV7 Might be worth looking at R.

  5. Thanks Artful. Curiously, my wife is rather keen on the drums idea, apologies in advance to the neighbours!
  6. I like the idea of a charity, I'll follow up with them. Thanks!
  7. I've got a box of old pots, pans, Tupperware, and some knives, etc. Leftover from consolidating my wife & my homes. All used and nothing expensive, but still serviceable. Seems a shame to put it all in the bin. Ideas welcome! R.
  8. Did anyone else hear a loud bang a 6:55 this morning, seemed to set a number of alarms off as I was walking to the station. Old Camberwell Cemetery area.
  9. Hi all. We've just had some built in wardrobes fitted & what the salesman didn't mention was that they don't refit the carpet around the wardrobes. As we'd like it done nicely, we'd rather get someone in to refit the carpet around the new wardrobes. I'm assuming it's a fairly small job for someone who knows which way to hold a hammer, and evenings or weekends would be better. Any recommendations or people to avoid? Thanks. Rob
  10. Hi there. We're getting married in a couple of weeks. I thought it would be nice for my Fianc?e to have a massage/facial beforehand. Are there any places that people would recommend? I've fount 'The Hue' online, but it's closed for holidays at the moment. We're near the Camberwell Old Cemetery Thanks four your help!
