Hi All Interesting thread! I previously had a French taster session at the Nunhead Community Centre. I am looking at setting up a permenant French play group for toddlers. I am a qualified Teacher/ Early Years Educator with 10 years experience and a registered childminder. I am not fluent in French, however I do have an experienced French and Teacher/group leader who runs the sessions. I run a toddler - pre school workshops for 3-5 year olds during school holidays at the Nunhead community centre, under the name Cre8tive Learning. The next session date that has spaces left will take place on 3rd June from 9:30am - 10:30am and the theme is A Day In France, Children will learn key words/numbers in french, french games, songs, taste the finest french snacks and much more as well as lots of learning which is linked to the Early Years Curriculum and most importantly lots of FUN! Hello all I am thinking about setting up a Nursery in the Nunhead area and as part of my research, I am interested in finding out about the childcare needs within the community. For example; is another nursery needed? breakfast club, afterschool club, holiday club. Would an all year round Nursery be good with the option of term time only?
