    Optrex 300ml

Optrex 300ml Beware: The box it comes in does not seem strong enough for the weight of the bottle. After one use I put the bottle back in its box and on lifting the bottle fell out of the bottom of the box and smashed onto a hard floor. on examining the box I discovered that bottom had the same flimsy flap as the top opening. I suggest you tape the bottom opening closed as soon as possible after purchase.
  2. Poundland sell a lightweight litter picker, it looks a bit flimsy but my one is still good after 18 months of regular use. remarkable value for ?1
  3. Thank you JohnL It was very much like the ones on your link and yes it was very traumatic. The scrap metal trade has been cleaned up in recent years, but it is time that this trend with catalytic converters was stopped. Maybe each purchase by the legitimate dealers should registered with a car registration, full address and photo of the seller. with heavy fines for defaulters. somebody will eventually loose there life in one of these incidents, and may already have done so through stress.
  4. I had my catalytic converter stolen yesterday , 4 men in a silver hatchback, it took about 5 mins to cut it out. they ignored me shouting at them and were very threatening, I thought they were trying to take my wheels at first as the car was jacked up front and rear. the police said that this crime is increasing at the moment. does anyone know a good place to get this repaired? it is an older BMW 11 years old !
  5. Thank you for your replies, the more I research boilers the more questions and problems I seem to find! I will have to keep my 34 year old boiler going a bit longer until I can make my mind up.
  6. I need to replace my boiler which is currently a regular type with loft tank and hot water tank. I am thinking of changing to a combi boiler but I am worried a. about reliability b. whether I will be able to get a decent shower (mains pressure is good) and c my 22mm gas connection is shared with my cooker will, will that be a problem?
  7. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS For a couple of days now I have been getting an automated call which tells me that my internet is going to be disconnected today. It instructs me to press 1 on my keypad to resolve the problem or press 2 to go ahead with the disconnection. This will be a scam, whichever option you take (1 or 2) will almost certainly connect you to a premium rate line and very quickly cost you a lot of money. The scammers will be operating from abroad, this will not be obvious as they will be using a virtual telephone number that will make it look like they are phoning from the UK. Also be aware that this number will keep changing slightly each time they try to catch you out So if you get a call like this don?t panic, your internet will not be disconnected, just hang up or let it go to answer phone if you have one.
  8. I have mixed feelings on charging to park in our beautiful Parks Many people that use the car parks can easily afford to pay ?2 per Hour and would not be put off by these charges, but there are many who can?t pay and some that simply would not be prepared to pay. Public transport may not be an option for families who have planed a picnic and have bikes and pushchairs to transport and then there are people who need a car to bring an elderly or infirm person. So we end up with a park where the wealthy (who need to bring a car) will still enjoy all the pleasures of a day in the park, and the poor (who need to bring a car) will be denied, in this is a socialist borough!
  9. Honor Oak Road is nose to tail this morning very very slow, give Forest Hill a very wide berth
  10. Your key remote signal has probably been cloned by someone nearby that was using a cloning device as you locked your car. I suspect Mine was cloned by a man in a van that stopped behind me and left shortly after I had locked up the car without getting out of his van. A few days later several items were stolen from my car with no signs of a break in.. On a plus note, replacement glass would have been more costly than the items stolen!
  11. I will try returning to address on DL Later today. Posting just to let owner Know it is safe
  12. We now have good evidence of who the kitchen supplier was and the likely installers, the police have got involved and have taken the details of the evidence. Which I will make public if I need to. It was good to see neighbours all working together on this. Hopefully somebody will be prosecuted.
  13. What do we do? a large amount of builders rubbish has been dumped on a private rear access road. we managed to get a photo of their number plate and a description of the van. there is also evidence that may lead to the person that had the building work done. police on 101 do not seem interested so far. Can anybody advise on what to do?
  14. I have a similar problem in the Horniman area A block of relatively new build flats has the same post code as the individual houses at the other end of the street. So for instance, when a flat dweller orders good, cab or a takeaway they are asked for their post code and house/flat number. if they don?t correct the order taker to include the name of the block of flats at this stage, then the goods , cab or takeaway has an equal chance of being delivered to the individual house of the same number. This can be very annoying if the flat dweller likes late night takeaways. Also although I have redirected deliveries, post and cabs on many occasions I cannot be sure that the other party has done the same for me!
  15. Having read this article from the bbc news website today http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-42666596 I have to admit that it would appear that the new generation of Diesel vehicles are probably no more polluting than petrol vehicles and therefore are being demonised unfairly. That said, there is a definite shift in public and government opinion to move towards electric vehicles, so getting rid of the most polluting vehicles through a scrappage scheme paid for by a separate fuel tax would be the fairest and fastest way forward in my opinion.
