If you could both send me your numbers in a PM, I can add you to a WhatsApp group that I’ve been added to. It’s mostly second time mums. ☺️

Yes it is fair – there are plenty of non-fee paying schools. So going to a fee-paying school is always a choice. Whereas paying nursery fees or rent is often not a choice (ie you need childcare to work, and you need a roof over your head). Also this is a petition about a law that a potential incoming government has written, but they have not even been elected yet.

Hi, I’m expecting my second child around mid-February 2024, and was wondering if there any other parents in the local area who would like to start a little group for walks, coffee, play dates, support, etc. First babies, second babies…etc all welcome. Airelle

Would you be interested in the Acme Novelty Library, it’s a series of beautiful bound and printed comic by Chris Ware. I have 2 editions for sale

Yes, visited: Heber, Goodrich, Harris and Dulwich Village CofE. Heber also seems excellent, and actually Goodrich is also quite nurturing and friendly. But we may just decide on proximity in the end, to make things easier. What about you?

I’d also be keen to hear some insider knowledge about this School. Very similar scenario to you, Sphynx.

I have the electric bike conversation kit, and I’m happy with it! Let me know if you want to know anything specific.

We’ve had an outage for most of yesterday, and still not back this morning. No notice from Virgin. I can’t work from home now! 😠 We’re near Dulwich Library…

That’s really cool, thanks for sharing. Was thinking of trying one out, as toddler is getting so big for the back of my bike.
