  1. That would count as anti social behaviour and you could have reported it as such. Isn't Southwark a smoke free zone too?

  3. Also maybe pop into the park office and have a word with Mark the park warden? Sounds hideous, I was there yesterday!

  5. Northern Exposure Twin Peaks Cardiac Arrest Rich man Poor man
  6. Thanks to the young man who came to the rescue of a baby fox with it's head trapped in the wire fence between Greendale and Sainsbury's! My dog noticed it, but it was scared and snappy! We couldn't touch safely. Joe went to get some wire cutters and gloves and patiently cut the poor (noisy) baby free. Great job!

Incidentally, libraries in > Southwark now all provide free wifi, though no > sign of a caramel latte... Here here! Although some Southwark libraries now have cafes attached. The Canada Water one I can particularly recommend!
  8. Thx, that looks perfect!
  9. I want to spend a few days away in the UK and wondered if any of you have suggestions of places you've stayed that would welcome a well behaved dog?
  10. I heard Uber don't pay UK taxes though, that puts me right off
  11. Do you know anyone Ce?
  12. Thanks BB that's one area we're looking at
  13. Toffee is still looking for a 'forever' home
  14. Thanks everyone-I've responded to some with PM
  15. An elderly neighbour has become unwell and unable to take care of her 12 year old cat, who has diabetes and kidney failure. Obviously if he ends up in a cat refuge we believe he will just be put to sleep as it will be difficult to rehome him. Any offers or suggestions welcome-thanks!
  16. Anyone know of any local as I don't drive? Have temporary care of a lovely natured collie cross and on our walks she loves jumping over branches etc, and I think it would be a great way for her to socialise too!

  18. I saw The Falling and was given seat F8 in a row that went up to 7! Same thing with the couple behind! Screen was great though, and staff friendly. Some teething issues are to be expected-went to have coffee last week and ended up leaving as I waited an age to be served.
  19. It's been unplugged recently, no change. Actually when I use the remote, it goes mad and whizzes through channels and not stopping. Just wondering if any of this sounds familiar to anyone?
  20. Does anyone know of a repair/recovery service? I lost all my recorded stuff - hard drive suddenly was 'blank' Also the thing has lost the ability to be controlled by the remote...Any help appreciated
  21. Our bras go to Bloomers Jomou. But we will take them for you
  22. Charity shops get money for items such as this which we can't sell. We at St Christopher's have 'rag bags' which still raise money for the cause. If you hand it in, make it clear these items are for 'ragging' and they will go straight in the appropriate bag. Sorry for your loss.
  23. Wow, I volunteer in this shop and I thought I'd seen it all!
