Any ideas? > New to the forum ,so hopefully I have posted in > the right section :) I'm a million miles away from being a jogging fan, but having joined 'Free fitness in the park' Peckham Rye (check what's on listings)I can't imagine not going! It's more than just jogging, it's a friendly bunch of mixed ability fitness levels, we stop at 100m lengths to do muscle tone work, but more importantly We have FUN!
  2. Expected a skit by the very funny Chris Morris!
  3. Tempted every year and I always chicken out because of needles dropping or 'will it last?' anxiety-what are people's tips for buying, how early, non drop-are they really? Cheers for the help
  4. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was informally known as the 'Nanny' dog for a long time, simply because they are so good with children/family life Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There's absolutely no way you can convince me that > people get staffies because they're good with > children. 8. She sells Sanctuary-the Cult White Wedding-Billy Idol
  9. Don't know if it's been mentioned already-lots of occasions these buses run in pairs, and I've seen them leave Peckham garage within minutes of each other. That can't be right, especially when there are 'inspectors' in the bus garages supposedly monitoring what's going out when?
  10. If the protein you eat is of the non animal type, it's a lot better for you. I eat carbs such as bread, rice etc in very small quantities if at all now. I replace as much wheat with oat as I can, and I dropped tons of weight in the process...

  14. Bathroom-bath has only 1 tap in working order so can only shower, not bathe. Been like it for years... Kitchen-area behind sink area is rotting away, waste disposal has never worked, 2 spaces where ceramic floor tiles were laid never been filled with anything, ever. Hole above dining table where I removed the hanging light I didn't like, relatively recent but very visible! Still need to fill out forms to get my mortgage protection payout.. Still gotta update CV...
  15. Thank god I'm not going mad...:-$
  16. I first became aware of this at 5.30am, it's a six note little noise, like someone singing opera lite-but it's so regular (still ongoing) and with a minute or so in between, the only thing I can think is it's some weird alarm type thing-I am in Colwell backing onto Playfield Cres, is anyone else hearing it or know what it is?
  17. Doesn't make any difference if a friend can come around while she sells the phone Annette, as soon as the friend has gone, seller is all alone in a house where the stranger knows not only the address, but also some of the layout! It may sound overly cautious and believe me I am not a scaremonger but if the seller felt uneasy it was for a reason..
  18. Always, but always, listen to that inner voice, that 'instinct' if you like has saved my bacon more times than I care to remember..
