So sorry to hear this. Did the owner say it was a Pit Bull? Or an American Bulldog? American Bulldogs are quite tall, like Boxers. Pit Bulls seem to be called American Staffordshire Terriers now in order to get round the illegality of owning them here. I remember several years ago that there were two men who owned an American Bulldog they couldn't control walking in Peckham Rye Park. From what I recall, the dog savaged at least two other dogs, and the owners were tracked down and the dog was confiscated. Maybe you could ask the park warden for help.

Agree. That's a new one. I once had a guy ringing my bell saying he needed to speak to the man who lived there about borrowing some of his tools. Would never open the door unless I knew who it was.

I Looked at the lighting in B&Q recently. Some great affordable light shades on their website, so have a look. I also like Vitra stuff, but out of my price range. -

I've got a Millbrook pocket sprung one now. It has been great, but it's old now, and very heavy to turn. My brother had one of the original Tempur memory foam ones. Those were extremely expensive back in the day.

I've just remembered encountering a really good memory foam mattress in a Rome hotel. Was surprised how comfortable it was.
