  1. Internets, who'd have 'em? Honestly, if you're gonna start anally picking people's posts apart who are just offering help, then you should at least make the effort to read them properly. The bit about having to break the window to get at the key clearly indicates he meant leaving the key in the inside of the door.
  2. Maybe this one - http://ukmoths.org.uk/show.php?id=1275 Or this one - http://ukmoths.org.uk/show.php?id=497 Who knows, it was pretty though.
  3. Yeah we've got some of those tiger moths and this particularly cool bright turquoise moth. No idea what it is, just a plain flat colour, no markings, came a sat with a few of us for a while the other night.
  4. Yeah and the people shaking all the plums into a massive sheet. Wild flower bit is cool though. Now build some tennis courts!

Should have put a ;-) I was just joking, too much queuing for courts st the moment at Dulwich, probably be ok again when Murray gets knocked out, God help us if he wins it though.
  6. Give the courts in Dulwich park a miss, there's gangs there that steal all your stuff, bikes, bags etc while you're playing they walk around with massive staff cross dogs off lead intimidating would be tennis players. Keep children well away. Would go to Ruskin park instead, much safer.
  7. Watched some in the Gowlett last year but not sure there are any rules, probably if enough people want to watch it they put it on.

I made some mulled port at Xmas, no posh tea bag but I swear the fumes got you high. The "warm inner glow" of mulled port is something else.
  9. Peckham is the only place in England I've been where people just plough through zebra crossings. A few months ago I saw a guy do the same thing, screeched to a halt a few inches from a girl who was clearly half way accross the road outside payless on Bellenden Rd. To be honest i don't cross now until I have eye contact with the driver, too many idiots with cars in Peckham. Another Bellended Road incident I saw was a girl pull out of Chadwick road, while writing a text, straight in front of a car travelling down Bellenden Rd that had no chance to stop at all and went into her. This is what you're up against.
  10. Hoopers is a strange one. We've just moved within spitting distance and I'd really love to love going there, they sell one of my favorite Belgians, it's local but somethings not right. On occasion the staff are friendly enough but the last time we went down the guy there was just downright rude and the Guiness was watery and weird. You'd think, considering we walk the dog past there most nights and it's mostly dead, that they'd be a bit more welcoming of new custom. It's a big pub and unless it's full it feels like drinking in a morgue. It could do with a Pool table or something. I've spent a lot of money over the years in the Wishing Well as it was the only place round here you could have a decent game of pool. I'll give it a few more tries but I think my energy and money would be better spent in the Gowlett, convincing them to stock Liefmans.
  11. Wasn't too impressed with Froch in his last fight against the Canadian. Fights in straight lines like Pavlik, got hit way way too much, too static. Would get taken apart by a worldclass fighter. Calzaghe would annihilate him. Haye vs Wladimir is interesting, it's the better fight for Haye, if he can deal with the jab he'll probably win. Old Wlad don't like it rough. The HW division needs Haye to win big. It's been a bore for a good decade now. Looking forward to Hatton vs Pacquiao if it comes off, a certain war. Also Cotto vs Margarito 2, the first fight was the best of the year IMO.
