  1. Hi there, I am revamping my kitchen and have new worktops needing installed (old ones removed). Can anyone recommend someone local who might be interested in this job? There are two lengths of worktop - one to be shortened and width also to be reduced. The other is to be cut in two and joined perpendicularly - also needs holes cut for sink and gas hob which would ideally be installed by the same person. Few other bits of woodwork - a couple of shelves and cover for pipes to be built (don't have materials for these) Thanks Lindsey
  2. Hi there, Does anyone know of a reliable garage locally who would MOT my campervan? Ideally somewhere that deals with classic cars Thanks
  3. If anyone has lost a bank card in the park - I handed one into lost property this afternoon. Feel free to PM me with your name and I can let you know if it?s yours.
  4. I'm hoping not. Just birds without flu, flew into my flue
  5. Great thanks I'll give him a call
  6. I have recently noticed constant tweeting from my boiler flue so I'm pretty sure some birds have nested in there. I live on the top floor (2 storeys up) so can't easily get to the outside of the flue to check. Has anyone encountered anything similar and have any advice on how/who can help deal with it? So far I have tried: The vet who said to try RSPCA RSPCA who first of all said to get a ladder and wave them away but eventually put me onto Nature England... Nature England who told me I'd need to get a licence to remove the nest... I've left messages with a couple of heating engineers to get their advice...but am not getting anywhere very quickly. I'm worried that they go further into the flue and end up in the boiler and hurt themselves/the boiler and equally that any fumes may affect them or that they may be blocking the flue and therefore fumes not escaping as they should.
