  1. Re Camberwell clinic - to warn you that they don?t make appointments over the phone - you have to go into the clinic to make the appointment, in my experience for a future date, so allow a bit longer...agree that the doctors there are v efficient so don?t be put off!
  2. Koru Kids is an agency providing students for after school care - not sure about mornings - they may not so mornings but being students would generally not expect holiday hours. (They are paid their legal holiday entitlement though, via the agency). Otherwise if you agree directly with a Nanny to work term time only you can include wording in the contract that they are only employed for work in term time, and that their holiday entitlement is to be taken by in school holidays.
  3. Contractually, she is entitled to be paid those days but equally, you are entitled to ask her to do work which would include Child- related clearing up (but not general house keeping). Our nannies have always ended up with extra paid holiday for this reason - it is frustrating but I have just sucked it up as being inevitable (and specified in the contract that we get to choose more of the holiday although we always tried to find dates that worked for us both. I am an employment lawyer who has also employs nannies so see it from both sides!
