They set off early and go to Richmond Park, Wimbledon Common, Epping Forest, Petts Wood, Bewl Water - anywhere wild and beautiful, where they can roam free and play together for half the day or more. Then she brings them home, happy and exhausted, to dry off with a chew. No big pack for the dogs, no city stresses, no need for you to relocate in order to give your dog regular wild walks! Hello Dulwich mums and dads, I'm a Herne Hill mum with a 7-month old baby and have just launched my first children's story book. It's all about the bolshy, cacophonous parrots of Brockwell Park and encourages children to stop and notice nature all around them. It's written in rhyme and has been illustrated by another local mum, Jenna Herman, who uses line drawings with washes of oil, acrylic and watercolour. We've also teamed up with the brilliant Bumble Box of Herne Hill, to create a lovely book and bird activity box - perfect for little explorers. Hi there, We're looking to replace a modern staircase with a Victorian-style one. This would include replacing newel posts and spindles as well as the hand rail. The staircase is in a 4-storey house. We've found someone online who can make the component parts if that helps; or would also be interested to find someone who could make and install the whole thing.
