  1. Thanks Paula, that's really helpful. I'll send PM later.
  2. what's worse: fat people complaining that they haven't eaten or ugly people calling each other babe?
  3. I received that letter a year or 2 ago. I thought the writing looked like a carpenter's I had recently used. He had spoken at length of his admiration for Thatcher. We haven't used him since.
  4. According to my Peckham and Nunhead history book they had strippers or topless bar-ladies in the 70s.
  5. If you combine Montpellier's wine, Hooper's beer, the Gowlett's straightforward food offering and not lose too much of the wooden charm then it will be a great pub

  9. Asquiths on Peckham Rye is excellent. Our baby started there at 7 months and really loves it. The staff are really caring and the place has a really lovely atmosphere. They have a waiting list so even if you don't know exactly when you plan to return or what your days will be, I think it's best to get your name down now and then work the rest out later.
  10. The US has been pretty successful since the 70s. I might not remain preeminent but the its certainly had a long period off success. Your question is either/or but economies work in cycles. the answer is "yes" to the first part and probably 'yes' to the second part. At some point in the future the dollar might well be backed by something more tangible.

  13. Getting back to your original question. I am not a patient at the Royal Free.
  14. I wouldn't call this evidence but ties in with what you say and is negative about Boris, therefore a good article. http://www.mayorwatch.co.uk/boris-announces-above-inflation-fare-increase/20081432
