That was my idea about the fruit in the bath, lol. Mr F wa sjust chortling the other day saying he bets noone else feeds their kids that way, i said he'd be surprised, I've started a craze!
I agree with the others...
9.5m is early on in the process. Novelty passed, goen off being spoonfed but not able to feed themselves very well and focussing on some familair favourites.

Egyptian all inclusives are great, though the flight is 51/2h.. and in january the days are very short(sun falls behind the mountains in Sharm at about 3pm) and TBH the pool safety isn't good (no lifeguards) and I am not sure children's clubs are up to much. So depends how much you wnat to run around after a toddler..
but we've had two fantastic holidays there (November each time) and I have been there diving many times in jan.

I have two friends whose girls didn't toilet train till 2y 11m which is deemed late for girls and they both got quite stressed but once their girls were ready it was very fast. Does he want a nappy put on to poo if you leave him without one on? My friend had this. Not sure how she solved it... just waited I think.. though I've seen the idea cutting a hole in the nappy and then popping them on the potty/loo till they get braver.

Good book called Science of Parenting, Margot Sunderland which explains why many babies are light sleepers and wake frequently.. if that makes you feel any better!

I don't think there is really an issue about extra classes stretching the management of a primary, if anything the extra cash means economies of scale and the ability to put more funds into the leadership and management of specialist areas such as Art and Music along with library facilities and ICt etc... the problem is one of space... Some schools can accomodate a bulge class in one year... but take in an additional form of entry, each time, an extra classroom is required and few schools could accomodate that without the use of mobile classrooms. Space for playing, dining etc is also an issue when a school expands.

You can have both. Salary sacrifice isn't being phased out just yet anyway.

I was on the tube once where a toddler got left next to me in the same way.. I got off at the next stop with him and LUL used their radios to reassure the poor mother, stuck at the previous stop!

To use tax credits you'll need a registered childminder or nanny. Usually a minder works in their own home, a nanny works in yours. It is also helpful if your employer will pay you part of your salary in childcare voucers for you to use with a registered provider, then you can save the tax and ni on the ?243 pcm that can be salary sacrificed in this way.

I believe it is based on your gross earnings for any 13 weeks of your choice during the test period (the 66 weeks before the week you expect to give birth). The 13 weeks do not have to be consecutive.
