As the one o'clock club is open on Wednesday morning ... as long as all the children are 8 or under, we could meet there. It's a perfect place for the twins atm, I have realised!!

I don't see how your company taking over another justifoies a changeto your contract. Uf it was your company being taken over, TUPE may apply http://www.cipd.co.uk/subjects/emplaw/tupe/tupe.htm?IsSrchRes=1
There are restictions on an employer unilaterally varying a contract (which amending your maternity rights does)

I wouldn't be so optimistic.. i did the same myself about a year ago, and after a flurry of phone calls, nothing further came of it.

In my case, I sleep on a futon with the babies...I hardly wake when they need attention... with baby no 1 MrF was there too (snoring and hogging the covers) ... .
This time he is excused!
I think the advice re SIDS prevention is same room as the parents for 6 months. Hearing you breathe is helpful apparently.

Our babies will crawl back under the highchairs after lunch and hoover up as seconds any scraps i haven't swept away.

Ah yes, mine like cat food, but it's the kidney diet kibbles! Also today twin II came in munching an olive that must have been on the deck since we had people round for a meal about 3w ago :-$

No. I made a complaint about them when I had son no 1 after they gave me incorrect advice (and made me cry, when it was they who were wrong!) and got an apology and advice they would all receive additional training, but I lost confidence at that point.
What happened was I wanted to take son no 1 swimming before his vaccs,( which we did a bit later than usual) i checked the net and spoke to the GP and they confirmed no problem, polio is not spread via the wee of vaccinated babies.
I then saw the HV and mentioned we'd been swimming, and she hit the roof, told me in no uncertain terms I was putting my child at risk.. and made me sign for a copy of the vaccs booklet as proof I was aware of my dangerous behaviour. I went off snivelling, and read the pamphlet.. only to see it included exactly the opposite, that i was right, it IS safe to swim before vaccs!! I was so upset.

Yes, Original budget was "The 2009/10 ? 2011/12 Capital Programme budget report agreed by
Mayor & Cabinet in February 2009 provides ?9.406m for the Forest Hill
Pools project. Further to this a revenue reserve of ?179k was made
available in 2008/09 towards the costs to date of this project. Therefore
the total budget available is ?9.585m."
Two pools are mentioned, so hopefully will include a baby pool. But not until 2012.
