There was just a bunch of kids letting them off at the park now - didn’t seem menacing just kids being kids but i do feel for all the dogs as it’s still daylight as they are just on their evening walks 😞
-
it was super odd... my first instinct was perhaps this individual was lost or needed help... but when they just stood there looking me dead in the eyes it felt intimidating. i did call 101 and they were super helpful and seems like i wasnt the only one that rang that night. thanks for the help and advice ... really appreciate it 🙂

I think these kids are starting to come from the park into residential road I live of a road very close to the park and just had a kid knock on door stood with his tongue hanging out clearly trying to intimidate and his friend was laughing. Is there anything I can do in terms of registering it with the police ? edit - called 101 and gave a very detailed description (sorry I’d have deleted the post if I could !)

I’ve recently switched from sky for exactly the same reason and moved to vodaphone and delighted with the service … be warned when you finally switch off they’ll beat the competitors 🤣 -
Thank you ♥️

I just had Leon come to switch some elan non replaceable fittings with standard spot light fittings and purely reached out to him due to the glowing reviews on this page . I found Leon to be very efficient with his communication and provided a fair quote for the work carried out and would not hesitate to recommend him like many on this forum have done too. thanks leon

Recently got back to my home after 2.5 weeks away to discover a large brown patch on my kitchen ceiling. Having used and trusted Andy for a number of years as i know he has a wealth of knowledge he came and help me isolate and find the leak. Andy as honest as always said he didnt want to touch the pipework but has a very good contact in the name of Aidy - Aidy came straight away gave me his proffesional opinion and helped refit a new pipe. Both are very honest and hard working and reasonable - top work and thank you both again Aidys number is - 07961 981 944

they just came to me now too and found the leak as it was in their boundary they fixed it. just now need to wait for a few weeks / months before they switch me onto the meter as they are stil charging me a fixed rate based on the size of property rather then actual metered usage.
-
thank you both that has made me feel better - fingers crossed
-
so they came today and confirmed the leak is from the supply pipe and the next steps are to wait for them to come back in a few months time to drill on both the pavement and driveway to check the pipes for leaks... if its there its for them to fix if not for me to investigate. i dont think there is a scam i think more folks are moving to metered / pay as you guy tarrifs and hence the leaks are now being monitored... slightly worried its for me to fix and what the costs are but i guess these are just the joys of adulthood!

I just wanted to recommend Andy (again :)) He has some some work for me in the past and I just had him remove a huge bush at the fro t of my drive and he did such a proffesional job. communicating very well, and kept the place tidy at all times . No complaints and already looking to book him in for more work. thanks Andy !

I’ve also had a meter recently installed and have been told they have monitored 18 litres of water passing continuously through my pipes per hour. On the letter from TW they have a Dedicated phone number for this and I got through relatively easily and their engineer will be coming over in the coming weeks to locate the leak. As it stands I can’t see any sign of damp on the walls and no water coming through the decking in the back garden and the water pressure from the pipes are fine too. But apart from this I await the proffesional report. TW also advised that if if the leak is located in my boundary whilst it’s my responsibily to get it fixed as long as I provide commitment to get it rectified in 21 days of their visit they waive the water loss. It is ofc stressful but it does seem that TW will do everything they can to help get this fixed if it’s within your own boundary. Hope this helps the other posters in this thread 🙂
