I wonder if anyone has a recommendation for a company which services lawn mowers. I have previously taken mine to the shop in Beckenham but would rather try somewhere else if possible.

I can highly recommend Jane's course. I enrolled on the beginner's course last year and it was great, Jane is really knowledgeable and gave us lots of useful information,hints and tips without being too prescriptive about what we should do in our gardens. It's given me the confidence to try out new planting ideas. In addition, she provides delicious home made cakes. Win win!

I also want to recommend Lee. He did a job for me a couple of months ago and because he was delayed and couldn't make our original appointment, he popped in on a Sunday. The job was carried out efficiently, was competitively priced and Lee gave good advice about other plumbing issues which didn't require any work. Most impressed.

Can anyone recommend a carpenter/joiner to fix patches of rotten wood in a bathroom window please.

I would like to add my recommendation for Saied. He arrived on Wednesday and sorted areas of my garden which were overgrown, replanted some shrubs and gave the lawn a makeover. He did a fantastic job and arrived with his delicious organic apples.

Another recommendation for Jane. I attended her course for inexperienced gardeners yesterday. It took place in her beautiful garden and Jane gave lots of advice on all aspects of gardening. It was really useful and the tea and cake was an added bonus!

I found Martin through a recommendation on EDF. I obtained quotes from three firms, his quote was competitive and clearly explained. He landscaped my front garden beautifully, building walls with railings, and laid paving. He is polite, punctual and kept me informed throughout the project. I am delighted with the garden.
