We are looking for an after-school nanny for our 7 year old daughter and 6 year old son, Mon-Thurs, 3.30-7.30pm (potentially with some extra hours during school holidays). We’d love someone who is caring, calm and organised, who can cook good meals for the kids, and who can foster a love of reading and help with homework. Fluency in Italian or French would be a great bonus. We live very close to Peckham Rye station and the kids go to a local school nearby. We are a family of four based in Peckham Rye, with a 3 year old daughter and 2 year old son. Starting from January, we are looking for a regular nanny for Fridays and Saturdays from 7.30am to 8pm. As well as looking after the children, we would also like this person to help with general housekeeping work when time permits. In addition, we are also looking for temporary childcare holiday cover from 29th Dec to 12th January (we?re flexible around the 31st/bank holiday itself)- ideally, this would be someone interested in the regular role noted above. Hi all, I?ve been doing some online research to find a tennis club in the Dulwich/East Dulwich/Peckham/Camberwell area that my husband could join, but thought it might be useful to actually ask in this Forum for people?s recommendations. I?m looking in particular for a friendly place where he could drop in on evenings after work and be relatively certain that there will be other people around with whom to play a game - i.e. a place that does not necessarily require bookings in advance but relies on drop ins (at least part of the time). I expect at this stage he is an ?intermediate ? type player - experienced but quite rusty. If people know of places that have indoor as well as outdoor courts, that would be a bonus.
