Thanks Moonlightstone for the info. Dunstans Road is affected too. Thames Water automated service confirms there is a technician in the area investigating.

The whole exercise is a shambles. Last week they closed Dunstans Rd to traficc at the crossing with Forest Hill Rd and instead of putting the "RD Closed" notice at the crossing of Underhill Rd with Dunstans Rd, the contractors just didn't bother and the cars were coming all the way down Dunstans Rd and then had to do three point turnings! How silly can you be!!! When I complained to the contractors the day after that, I only got half baked answers from them. They were working during nights last week and making a tremendous amount of noise plus all the disruption as above. Who is in charge of these works??? A jobsworth no doubt!! So many of those about ... Please Renata or whoever, do something about it, we pay council tax!!

Hi I had the salesman from APEX around my house this morning. The visit was just as described by [www.talkswindon.org] . It took me ages (nearly 2 hrs) to get rid off him. He quoted me 20k. Product seemed quite genuine. The DVD was very informative with Michael Fish presenting the product. He was very pushy but that is just a typical great salesman. I negotiated down to 13K but in the end I got rid of him. I feel sorry for old people taken in by this type of cold selling.
