Has anybody seen the poor man in a wheelchair living at the harvester pup who has a mattress under the cover part opp the vets on lordship lane since the change of weather he has now put up a tarpoling sheet to keep out the cold surely he should be entitled to some form of housing more so that he is disabled with a wheel chair
  12. it would seem that this alley has insufficient lighting and in the winter months is rather dark has anybody contacted the council or contacted the police in reference to this as this is a on going problem for as long as i have lived in the area surely some responsibility is with the council we all pay our council taxes and have rights maybe its about time a petition was started about getting some CCTV along there maybe a long shot but nothing tried nothing gained i know it is a good Short cut but maybe this alley is best avoided in the dark evenings
  13. it is a joke really... more than likely the whole car park will be dug up and and re designed at the cost of the tax payer who authorized the car park design well done southwark council
  14. Fri, 23/06/2017 - 9:30pm - 11:00pm GREAT FUN FOR KIDS Guided bat walk using bat detectors in Nunhead Cemetery Using bat detectors to pick up the inaudible calls of bats like common and soprano pipistrelle, Leisler and noctule, we will aim to uncover the nocturnal wildlife of this urban woodland. Bats use sonar or echolocation to navigate through the darkness to hunt moths and other invertebrates. There are a number of misconceptions and myths surrounding bats which we hope to be able to dispel during the walk. This is a free walk, all are welcome. Please bring a torch (but do not shine up at bats as this is a nuisance to them), sturdy footwear fit for uneven paths and gentle inclines and clothing suitable for the conditions.

  21. in reply to angel_lemarchand maybe the lady who lives opposite is subject to all the dog walking companies turning up with there dogs 2,3,4,times a day with them barking constantly some of which are uncontrollable (one dog got off the lead and was run over and died by Nunhead station recently) after a while it would get on anybody's nerves. See it from her side maybe she could have a young child who she may have just got to sleep and to be woke up to barking dogs she has a right to view her point maybe not out of the window but video evidence may be the only way of showing the local authority the issue with the dog walking companies Dog walking companies should be stopped from walking in this cemetery i have no issue with normal public walking there dogs that's my view on this or introduce some sort of law that 2 dogs max per person and if found with more they would face a fine i am sure it will be interesting in what our Councillors have to say about this
  22. i would like to ask why is it they do not plant any form of fruit trees instead at least we could benefit from it
