I hired Andy to refurbish my office space as I needed some acoustic boards to be installed. This involved detailed work - cutting around wall sockets , removing and replacing heaters and then extensive filling, sealing and painting. Andy communicated with me regularly throughout the project , checking that we understood all of the options and taking a lot of care and time to make sure he was meeting our needs. It was so nice to deal with a builder who made so much effort to talk to us and keep us informed and we never felt patronised , and felt able to discuss and ask questions at any point. We changed our minds about certain things and Andy was so gracious and patient. We are so happy with the finished job, our walls look great and Andy?s attention to detail is really impressive. Andy was also very respectful of our office furniture and belongings , putting everything back in its original position. He also left the space clean and tidy. All of this for an extremely reasonable price too! It was a pleasure for my colleague and I to talk to Andy, he was incredibly friendly and he loves a chat! We had Dave from Pegasus round to look at our gas oven , the rings were not lighting. He fixed the issue in a few minutes and showed me exactly what the problem was. Another recommendation for John McCann who plastered a ceiling for me. I unfortunately gave him an inaccurate estimate for the job which was more complicated, so John adjusted his schedule and worked on the weekend as well to get it done for me, which he didn't need to do. Juat had Richard come round to install a new pull switch in our bathroom. He has been mentioned on the forum before. I only phoned him this morning so this is the quickest response I have experienced from any tradesman ever and then when he got here there was no messing about, took him about 10 mins! I think I've recommended Mark from Best Electrics before but I'll do it again because Mark arrived at my workplace today to fit a new light fitting and heater and again his service was first class. Every time I've used Mark he's turned up on time (which is such a relief!), he's a pleasure to deal with, knows his stuff and very reasonably priced.
