rotten tree trunk needing cutting up and removing
Kalamiphile replied to Kalamiphile's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Thank you -
I doubt that the Bishop reads the forum so am not sure how that will come about j-s-c. I think we will find our own way of processing this shocking experience. I would usually choose to share this processing with others who have been involved but having read some of the posts I doubt I could do that. I don't want to get into gossip, debate or discussion about the wider aspects of this including the church and I would be afraid that is what might occur. I am using my friends, both religious and non religious, they are able to listen and allow my pain without judgement and opinion, only expressing sorrow at what has occured for all of those that this has impacted

Thank you for that Miga. Personally I didn't sleep last night. This is a man I have known and trusted for many years. Both my adult daughters are devastated by this news having only met him a few times. I wept at his memorial, thinking that he was a troubled man and now I know why. Before anyone yells at me, I am a psychotherapist in the NHS and have worked with both the victims and the perpetrators. I have seen the pain caused by abuse sitting with me so I have no liberal view of child abuse and its consequences. This does not alter the shock that those of us who knew him feel as we try to come to terms with this revelation and sit it alongside the person we spent time and conversations with. What his family must feel cannot be imagined. For them and for those from St Johns this is a time of great sorrow and grief. The fact that we are experiencing these feelings in no way detracts from the feelings that we might have about the trauma inflicted on the children involved in the downloads. You are right Miga, this is not an abstract discussion for us.

Lovely rabya came and did a face and eyebrow threading last night. Professional, friendly and effecient, I feel beautifully smooth for my holiday now. Have decide to go for the lashes and hd eyebrows, which is a big risk for me as i had a tattoo which I was not pleased with, so hoping this treatment will improve my brows. All of the feedback has given me the confidence to go ahead! many thanks Rabya xx -
Very belated response to my hair cut a few months ago. Stevie was absolutely great, so punctual, friendly and her cut was equally as good as the ?70 voucher I had for a cut at Aveda. Very happy to have found her

Laura, her friend and her husband have done excellent work in my garden. Laura works at the speed of light and everything is done well, no messing about, not even a cup of tea. Her husband fixed my shed roof, laid some turf and used up some old bricks to make a path. Excellent work, well done to a high standard You can find her under gardenservices I think

WANTED: plumber up for a challenge
Kalamiphile replied to tallulah71's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I had a british gas service contract for 2 years, they repeatedly tried to fix my Ferroli. In the end I cancelled my contract, phoned Ferroli and they mended it in one visit!!! -
Had Steve to turf my lawn last year which he did very well. After a couple of false starts with other gardeners I asked him if he would consider doing the garden for me. Very pleased with his work and with him. Very honest about what he knows, hard working and a nice person to have around, which is very important to me. Can only endorse all previous posts.
