Hmmm we have a wood burner in our lounge and love it, not sure I would want another in the kitchen. I do love the look and feel of AGA but such a big decision and potentially expensive mistake to make. Thank you for all your feedback

We are about to embark on an extension and my dream kitchen would have an AGA or Rayburn Oven, The Pros are - Due to working at home 3 times a week the house and kitchen will be toastie - No waiting for oven to pre heat for meais - Potentially can be used for heating water and rads - They look fab The Cons are - They are only on or off which means it can get too toastie in the summer months - Expensive to run

I'm thinking of taking a weeks holiday at the end of the month as a surprise for my husband birthday but I have a few a questions 1) when would you book to get the best deal? Would you leave it til very last minute a couple of days before or longer a week, 2 weeks 2) where to choose it's only a week so don't want to spend too long at airports or travelling to hotel? 3) which web sites would you recommend? 4) I'm thinking Portugal, Malta, but not sure what the weather would be like would like it warmer than here Thanks in advance for your thoughts

We are going to Dublin visiting my sister on the farm in the Dublin Mountains, we plan to go for a days cycle ride whilst we are there, can anyone suggest off road routes without too many hills if that's possible. We plan to hire bikes from Enniskerry Cycle Hire

Hi Admin, As a long time user and ex-resident of East Dulwich, now live near Heathrow. I've been toying with the idea of renting out a spare room for people/families on long haul or early morning flights. I have a few questions about 1. Am I allowed to post here as this location isn't East Dulwich, but I think the service might be useful to the EDF users. 2. Andrea - sorry to have missed your post, we currently play at Harris on Saturdays 9am - Midday and Mondays 7pm - 9pm at Crystal Palace although we are looking to move the Crystal Palace Venue to Harris in the next few weeks. Saturday Badminton Update Due to Harris Girls school closing down the sports facilities to the public as of the 6th November 2010. The East Dulwich Badminton Club will be relocating to Crystal Palace for the following dates 13th November 20th November 27th November We are investigating other venues in Brixton, Flaxman Road and Nursery Road. If anyone has any other ideas for venues nearer to East Dulwich please let me know. We currently need a venue that can cater for upto 20 players so ideally 3 courts will be required between 9am - Noon.

Just a quick update to the Badminton Club Saturdays at Harris continue to be very popular but also very inclusive to all badminton levels. 9am - 12pm 2 Courts Mondays at Crystal Palace increased popularity has now warranted an extra court, again all badminton levels welcome. 7pm - 9pm NOTE: Saturday 25th September this booking has been moved to the Sunday 26th due to Harris School requiring the Sports Hall for an open day If anyone is interested in join our club then please PM for further details.

You are more than welcome to join us on a Monday, PM me for details. I currently pick up at about 18:30 from the gardens and Hindemans road and there is usually room in the car.

shame you missed it we had 5 players in the end which meant I could sit out a couple of games as 2 hours continuous play is a bit hard going. Details of times and locations etc are Monday - Crystal Palace - ?4.00 - 7pm - 9pm, lift no problem but would need to pick you up at 18:30 - Number Players 4-8 although numbers are low at the moment due to the holiday season Wednesday - Ad Hoc Ish at Crystal Palace cost would depend on number of players Saturday - Harris Academy - ?5.00 - 9am - Midday, again lift no problem but would need to pick you up at 8:45 - Number of Players 12 - 16 although again numbers are low due to holiday season I would advise that the standard of play on a Saturday is higher than a Monday but you are welcome to come along to both
