Had a bit of a scare this morning. I was cycling in to work on my usual route and got to the junction of Stuart and Cheltenham Road at the top of the North side of Peckham Rye Park. I saw a car was coming from the left and he was accelerating heavily. I waited for him to pass, and at the last minute he swerved the car so he was driving straight towards me on the wrong side of the road at what felt like about 50-60mph. I seriously thought that my time was up. At the very last second he swerved away again and drove off. He had his window down, was staring straight at me baring his teeth. I felt like he was growling at me. I?ve reported it to the police, but they've just asked me to report it as a trafic incident by taking forms in to a station. The man was driving a small silver car (looked like a Saxo). I was too shaken to get his number plate. Doesn?t half make you feel vulnerable. Not really sure why I'm sharing this on here, I suppose just be vigilant

Another recommendation for Aria. Very pleasant and helped me sort an issue with my toilet. Very polite and reasonable rates.

I can only see this as a good thing. I'm made up! The service from Catford is diabolical at present

Anybody got one? I've currently got a massive water tank taking up a ridiculous amount of space in my living room & would like to rid of it. What are the running costs like and would you recommend having one? I miss having gas :(

I've just moved to Forest Hill (Catford end) having lived in ED/Peckham for the last 8 years. I think it's better here except for one thing. There's only two trains an hour to London Bridge at peak times in the morning. Cross Rail has a lot to answer for!

Are there any rules around TFL refunding people like they would for delayed trains. I've given up my season ticket and have started cycling to work. Had to use public transport this morning. A journey that should have cost me ?1.50 ended up costing a total of ?7.20. I was also almost an hour late for work.

Don't go anywhere near it today. I've just got off the bus to go back in the other direction & get the train. If I had better shoes on and not flip flops I'd have walked. I got off the 40 about 15 mins ago and it's not even moved.

Everyone has decided to take the OKR and turn right at Tesco and cut through the back way. It was gridlocked when I cycled through this morning.

Bought a second hand bike on here and I've been cycling to Liverpool Street for the last 2 weeks. I absolutely love it. Anyone having reservations should just go for it. I've become hopelessly unfit over the last 6 years and I just wish I'd started this earlier.

What a shame :( I didn't expect it to last long after Franco Manca opened. I quite liked Sorsi's pizzas, but they were pricey!
