Just wondering if anyone here has any personal experience of using this nursery and any feedback they could share? We live on the ED/Forest Hill border. My husband has seen it and wasn't 100% convinced, but we can't find many reviews online. We're only looking for one day a week so just need to know they're good to the children, it's a positive and caring environment, and there are no red flags. Thanks in advance!

Baby clinic at Townley Road?
birdbywater replied to birdbywater's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Looks like we've finally found a number for the health visiting team who *think* the clinic is this morning so hopefully we've got our answer! -
Recently moved to the area and my husband (sahp) would like to see a HV with our 17 month old but can't find any info online for where or when the nearest HV clinic is. We're registered at the Lordship Lane surgery who said there is a clinic at Townley Road but they don't know when. Info online suggests either Tuesday mornings or afternoons or Wednesday afternoons. Not helpful and we can't get through on any of the numbers we've found or been given despite trying repeatedly for over a week! Does anyone know when the baby clinic is at Townley Road so my husband doesn't waste half a day walking there and back for no reason?!

Thanks all for the suggestions! I'll send to my husband (internet is finally working!), looks like there should be plenty to do. Yeknomyeknom - I've been to Jelly Tots, admittedly not since my little boy was about 4 months old, think he'd probably get a lot out of it now so thanks for the reminder. Definitely want to get us all registered at the library asap.

My husband and I have just moved to the area from Crystal Palace. He's a stay-at-home parent for our 1-year-old son, and is looking for activities during the week. Ideally free, although the odd low cost class may be do-able as well. We're on Lordship Lane next to the Horniman and my husband doesn't drive, so need things that are in walking distance. We don't yet have internet at home so I'm researching from work but struggling to find much information. Our previous area (Croydon) had a wealth of children's centres and activities which made it easy to find things to do so I'm not sure where to start! Hope you can help.
