I have lost my ring in while walking my dog in Peckham Rye park. It has a flat polished tan motley opal in silver setting. I dont think it is extremely valuable but it has incredible sentimal value. It anyone discovers it please do let me know. Thank you! (Sorry I dont have a picture of it but if anyone does find it I will be forever grateful)

Our son is just getting into Dungeons and Dragons but not many of his friends are into it. He is looking for people to play with, in particular other people who may have played more than him and who can be the DM (Dungeon Master). He'd like to play on the site "d&d beyond" but would use other platforms if more suitable. He currently attends The Charter School East Dulwich but is looking for players locally from any school. Please message me if by any chance you have a d & d player looking for more people to play with too. Thanks!

I found a pair of glasses under a tree near the new playground up the hill a bit. They were quite strong prescription, small camoflauge type frames for a child perhaps or woman. Quite funky frames. I debated whether to bring them home but my friend felt someone might go back looking for them so we found a nice large rock and sat them on top of it at the base of the tree. We felt the prescription were so specific that they wouldn't be stolen but wondering now if there was a better option. Anyway just in case this reaches the owners i hope they are still safely sitting there for you to find on your return.

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place for this but I am looking for a nanny for 4 weeks asap. I am a freelancer and have taken a last minute role. The problem with this kind of work is always managing the kids. At the moment I think I need someone for four days a week from 3-7pm and possibly a couple of longer days in the first two weeks of the school holidays. My children are age 8, 11 and 15 so they are quite easy to manage but need help around dinner time so this role would involve preparing an evening meal for them too (most meals will be partially or fully prepared just simple cooking skills required). If anyone has any suggestions please direct message me thank you.

Hello. We're new to the area (from o/s) and would love to store our bicycles in our front yard rather than out the back. I have seen this a lot in other London areas but not at all in ED. Obviously theft is probably the main reason but I just wondered why no one at all does this and if there are any keen cyclists that can recommend best locks, covers for bikes to conceal them etc. We don't have a storage shed (nor will be able to put one in) that many seem to have but the yard is protected to some extent by a tall hedge. Thanks in advance.

Thank you Coach Beth also very helpful. STEM is a huge area of interest so will have to look into the University Academy of Engineering too. Thanks! -
secondary state schools in the area? relocating from o/s
msmoppet replied to msmoppet's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Thank you Tomskip. It is a bit tricky but we also have two primary school kids so juggling work proximity, good primary schools and secondary options for the older one. Appreciate all the info has definitely all been fuel for the decision making process. -
secondary state schools in the area? relocating from o/s
msmoppet replied to msmoppet's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello, thanks for your reply. he'll be joining year 10 in september, we'll arrive in the summer break. so far charter and kingsdale both said virtually impossible. although harris boys looks like v good school for the right boy he's very anti an all boys school so we are still trying to get our heads around the other mixed gender state school options if you have any other suggestions, thanks -
We're relocating from Australia with three children and love the area. We're just not sure about state secondary schools for our oldest child as The Charter school looks hard to get into and although he's a boy he'd prefer a mixed gender school. Love to hear everyone's experience with secondary state schools in the area and their recommendations outside Charter or Harris Boys. Thanks so much!
