There is a sign saying Sewer Replacement.

Large water leak at Junction of Landells/Goodrich Road. Has been reported to Thames Water. Take care, especially if it freezes over.

Was it one of the trees that would have to be fielled if the proposed housing development is built?

If it's small and you have transport, take it to the Southwark waste facility at Devon Road for free. If it's too large you can book a bulky refuse collection. £35 for up to 10 items.

The Dry Cleaners in Forest Hill Road also has them on the counter.

Royal Mail Late Deliveries and the price we have to pay
se22 replied to dulwich1955's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Unlikely, because your postie has to manually sort the mail before delivery. Any backlog of mail won't have been sorted. -
When I passed by in a bus earlier today the road was still open but there was water flowing across the road.

Half of the carriageway is now reopen, but water is flowing out of the newly resurfaced road so it will have to be dug up again!

Has anyone seen him recently? He often stops me for a chat but I haven't seen him since before Christmas. Hope he is getting some support.
-
MarkyB Have you checked with Grove Vale service station? They probably have cctv.

Rye books in Northcross Road have been closed since at least last Saturday. I couldn't see a note on the door. Does anyone know when they will reopen?

Tracked 24 and special delivery get priority over other mail so it's very possible that you got tracked mail and no letters.

I haven't tried to use the station but I would guess it is open. The road is closed to traffic but open for pedestrians.

Denmark Hill is closed all weekend to enable a crane to be dismantled at the Salvation Army training centre. Buses going northwards are being diverted from Lordship Lane, up East Dulwich grove, then turning right at Dulwich village, past North Dulwich station then into Herne Hill road towards King's College hospital. The same in reverse going Southwards. It's working well at the moment but there are lots of confused people waiting about even though it's well signposted.

No idea why the exit has been closed, but it was open again yesterday.

Foxtons on Lordship Lane soon to become a Poundland Local
se22 replied to teddyboy23's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It was a Woolworths originally. Locals were disappointed when it closed down. -
Done. Hope your course goes well.

I did exactly the same as Lebanums. Decided it wasn't cost effective.

I'm in Dulwich Hill ward. Haven't had a single leaflet from any of the candidates.
