  3. Yes, I think so as in my school search of Southwark Council, these schools are not on their list.
  4. Thank you all for the comments! I just got a call from Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich and they would like to interview my girl on next Monday. Does any parents of HGA here can share some first-hand opinion about the school? Many thanks in advance.
  5. Hi, we have relocated back to London from overseas this year and need to apply for a secondary school for my girl who is 12 now and ready for Year 8 admission. We live in Red Post Hill. Both the Charter School in the Red Post Hill and the Charter School at East Dulwich have already declined our application due to a lack of vacancies and I am planning to go for Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich and maybe some other options in the area. Does anyone have any opinion about the HGA, especially from the parents of their students? What about other secondary schools in the area? Grateful for your thoughts and inputs. Many thanks in advance!
  6. Thank you very much for all of your messages! What about Judith Kerr Primary School which seems to be the closest to where we live. Does anyone have any comments about this school?
  7. Dear all, We have relocated back to London since July and now live in North Dulwich at Red Post Hill. It was always our intention to send our children to the nearby Charter School and that's why we moved to here. However, I just found out that my youngest daughter who will only turn 11 in this October will not be qualified for secondary school admission in September (although she did finish primary education in June before our relocation and was the youngest in her class). Anyway, I have to start the primary school search from scratch as previously I only focused on secondary schools. I found Dulwich Hamlet Junior School quite a good school but the admission office of Southwark Council said the school is full now and will have to put my daughter on waiting list only. The admission office asked me to name a few other primary schools that we prefer and they shall contact the schools to find out if they have space. Can any parents here share any insight about other good primary schools in the Dulwich area, especially the ones that are near to Red Post Hill? Do you any good schools that may have space for in-year admission for Year 6? Grateful for your advice. And many thanks in advance. Best,
  8. Thank you all for the useful info. Have a good day!!
  9. Hi it seems wapping wildcats is for adults. My kids are 10, 12 and 15 and we just relocated back to UK. Do you think the training would suit them? They were trained before however.
  10. Hi everyone! We will move to North Dulwich in early Aug and 3 of my teenage girls have learned volleyball before and would like to continue playing in our new home. Does anyone have any idea about classes or local teams which they can join? Many thanks in advance!
