  1. Cheap at half the price??? Surely it should be "Cheap at double the price"?
  2. Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher admits his side need divine intervention to help their title ambitions following another defeat at the weekend. "We've got to get through it and, as I'm doing, pray to God that at the end of season there will be something worthwhile for what we've gone through," he said. Taken from BBC Sport website You couldn't make it up.

  4. I still think 49 unbeaten and the treble is a greater acheivement.
  5. I think the phrase "agree to disagree" was made for situations like this.

Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Arsenal's 49 games is a great domestic > achievement, but ultimately it came to nothing. > You are clearly missing the point. To go 49 games unbeaten is an acheivement which I don;t think will be equalled in my life time or many life times to come. Sorry, I still don't get it.
  7. Sorry I still don't get it. It may have something to do with the time this event took place, but I think going a season unbeaten and 49 games unbeaten is a far greater acheivenemnt especially given the quality of the game these days, and, although it pains me to say it, the Mancs acheivement of a treble in a season is a greater acheivement. So sorry I still don't get it.

  15. Yes LG, isn't it funny how we get lambasted when our fans leave early, yet those have shouted loudest about this in the past do exactly the same themselves. Le Boss must have let the players have it with both barrells, well in Arsey baby.

Let's see if we can't "grind" out a result when your shower come visiting at the Home of Football.

  18. Where to begin, that is the question. Let's start with spuds.............HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA ETC Then there's Man Ure and Fergie spitting his dummy out becasue the officials don't allow enough time for them to equalise or even win the game, did they not know they were at Old Stratford?? And as for Rooney's dive, well what can you say. Dare I say that had it been a foreign player we would never had heard the end of it. Chelski..... I can't be bothered with them Then there's Liverpool. Firstly, if I were to believe everything their fans tell me, you wouldn't have heard a sound from the travelling fans because the Anfield "faithful" are so vociferous that they would drown out any opposing chants. Well I thought the travelling gooners more than did themselves proud and could often be heard outsinging the home fans. Well in!! Gerrard not getting a nailed on penalty?? Karma, for all the times he's conned the ref, remember his attempt last week?? Well inyou gooners, not a bad result for a "physically weak" team. What a goal by the little Russian, he is a gem of a player. And what now for Rafa?? Time to move on maybe. It ain't gonna happen is it, because apparently Liverpool would have to pay him zillions in comensation. I can't see Torres or Gerrard hanging around at the end of the season. Gerrard off to Real and Torres to us!!
  19. Too bloody right, if he wasn't good enough for Notts County............
  20. There's only one who purposely went out to maim an opponent. I'm sure he's very proud of his achievement.
