just wanted to say that we had a tile fall off the roof the other day; found Darren's number through a friend of a friend and he managed to come round the same day and do the repair which was great as lots of rain forecast! Darren - 07984 758770 The Flynn Family

Carpet Cleaner recommendation
the flynn family replied to sue.dawsonramsden@gm's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Bradley came to rescue our carpets very quickly when they had an unfortunate encounter with tomato ketchup. He was efficient and he knows what he's doing! Thanks east Dulwich forum! -
I'm hoping there's someone out there who can tutor my daughter for German A-level between now and June - I'm actually German, so her spoken German/understanding is good, she struggles more with writing, grammar and the translation bit. Edexcel examboard. Please get in touch as soon as possible if you can help! Barbara Flynn [email protected]

Have Eve & Teena Charles completely disappeared or are they still operating from somewhere else? Help, I can't believe they just closed down when I needed them after several years... If anyone knows where I can track them down or knows someone else who can a) repair an old curtain b) make me Roman blinds I'd be grateful for a recommendation. Barbara

we agree with kismet - we booked them to take us to the airport, making sure they knew there were 6 of us, so needed a larger car - they turned up with a small one and then promised us a bigger one which didn't turn up! nearly missed the plane! I've given them lots of second chances, like kismet, over the last 14 years but this is IT.

Time for residents parking
the flynn family replied to TonyQuinn's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
replying to Huguenot - we are affected by living near Lordship Lane and we STILL say no to parking restrictions. a) they would cost money b) what a palaver whenever a friend wants to visit or the woman repairing the washing machine or whatever c) I don't mind walking a bit further to our car as a small price to pay to have such a fantastic selection of interesting shops and nice bars/cafes/restaurants right on my doorstep. It's an acceptable price! though it was quite hard whilst the twins were babies and I was lugging two baby car seats two roads down to the car. no parking restrictions PLEASE
