  4. Hi ElsaJohanna Dulwich Runners is also worth checking out. We meet at the Edward Alleyn Club House on Burbage Road, SE24 9HD (5 mins jog from Dulwich Village or Herne Hill) every wednesday at 7.15pm for 7.30pm with a very friendly bunch running between 4 and 10 miles at all paces and abilities. If you're interested just pop down one wednesday or message me / see previous East Dulwich Forum post for more details Jonathan
  5. Hi - there are normally a number of runners who will just do 3-4 miles on a Wednesday and do it relatively slowly so it is worth trying it out and see how you get on.
  6. An updated friendly post from Dulwich Runners Athletics Club (English Athletics Affiliated) to welcome any new, existing or potential runners to the area. Thinking of getting further into running, or are you a runner needing a bit of motivation and focus to achieve your goal? Our Club House is at the Edward Alleyn Club, 83-85 Burbage Road, Dulwich, SE24 9HD. Parking is available, and we are just a short jog away from East Dulwich. We run, train and race on the road, cross-country and track throughout the year. We are also lucky enough to have the support of coaches to help provide runners with tips and plans. All abilities are welcome with mileage and pace to suit all standards, although sadly we don't have the resources to cater for younger runners (under 16). Our Wednesday night club runs start from the Edward Alleyn Club House, 83-85 Burbage Road, SE24 9HD. Please arrive from 7.15pm to set off at 7.30pm. There is a small cost of ?1 each week, which gives you access to the Club House with changing facilities, showers and a bar with TV. There is a choice of run distances from around 4 miles to around 10 miles with paces for all standards. With the longer daylight and better weather we have now (as of May 2018) moved to our selection of summer routes until September taking in the best of nearby parks and woodland. You can see some of our routes on our website with Strava Links - https://www.dulwichrunners.org.uk/wednesday-night-routes Each week an established club member runs with new members so don?t worry about being on your own or getting lost!
