don?t normally leave recommendations but we have been so pleased with our builder, Matthew Hanson & Co. They installed a downstairs toilet for us which we love - all fixed and finished to a very high standard. Prices reasonable and very considerate in our busy house with small children. Pavel was excellent - always tidy, punctual and great attention to detail. He also fixed a number of issues we had around the house as a result of poor workmanship of previous builder (including leaks in family bathroom) and a number of decorating jobs (fitting fireplaces/ door knobs). We have previously used Matthew Hanson for our loft conversion last year and were equally impressed.

I just wanted to make a recommendation for Matthew and his team who recently refurbished our loft and did a fantastic job. The team re-insulated the loft room, installed velux windows, replastered, plumbed in radiators did new electrics and redoecorated. The work was done to an exceptionally high standard and was very good value compared to other quotes we obtained. We are delighted with the finished result. I appreciated Matthew taking account of our budget and re-using old materials when possible and limiting expenditure. Goiko led the day-to-day work on the house, always came on time and worked a full day. They were extremely tidy and conisderate working around our family and two toddlers. Another recommendation for vp removals - they made what could have been a very stressful day moving with 2 under 2 a very easy experience. We didn?t pack a thing and VP removals did all the packing and moving over a weekend. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Another recommendation for Paul Latham who built some decking steps in our garden (with handrail to make them toddler safe for our daughter). Paul was extremely diligent and completed the job quickly. His work is high quality and we are delighted with our new steps.

I can also highly recommend Collin Smith, he did a great job re-wiring part of our flat. He was professional, quick, courteous and reasonably priced.

I would like to add my recommendation for Gintaras (Lightbuild.co.uk/ 07427566558)- we had a great experience with him after our ceilings collapsed following a major roof leak, Gintaras really saved the day for us- completing the job promptly and to a very high standard - our bedroom now looks better than ever. We couldn't be happier with the result and wouldn't hesitate to use Gintaras again for other projects.

I just wanted to recommend Gintaras of lightbuild.co.uk (07427566558). We returned from holiday to find our top floor ceilings had collapsed following major roof leak causing extensive damage - we contacted Gintaras who replaced the ceilings and arranged for re-plastering and redecorating/ sanding and painting of damaged floorboards. Gintaras' communication was excellent - he sent us regular pictures and updates on progress and he communicated with insurers for us. He was very considerate at a difficult time when we were living amongst building works with our small baby! He has a great attention to detail and completed the job promptly to a very high standard - we could not be happier with the end result and would not hesitate to use Gintaras again.
