  1. I'm saying it makes no difference to me at the moment because most herbs are not restricted, and I'm sure you would not

ask me for any help, although you may soon have a limited choice to help your ailment.

You say you want to understand, I explain and you say I am being argumentative.

I have also stated earlier I do not think the physical and mental can be seperated in illness.

  2. Moos I only hope H has a better sense of humour.

No doubt without the scientific knowledge, (not long ago since NHS recognised the properties in St Johns Wort)you would have regarded this herb as nonsense. If these regulations go through, as I have said earlier, people who know the properties and actually want to have some responsibility for there health will see herbs being restricted because they have not been recognised.

  3. It was in jest Moo, sorry no idea how to get these smile.

H Sorry if you seen this as anything but a joke.

Which of the alternative medicines do you find nonsensical, nothing you felt strong enough, I take it, if you cannot see restrictions (whether you agree or not) I doubt very much you will understand. If you are genuinely interested try reading

the links. If it is a misunderstanding with my grammer, yeah I get that.

Its been pointed out before, but its just not important to me.

I think it would be a good idea to remember not everyone spends lots of time on the computer.

  4. You are a scoundrel H, I wouldn't be surprised if you'r a secret valerian popper.

For people who do rely on herbs, where no scientific knowledge is available, will see restrictions on them.

Many people who do not have faith in orthodox treatment do not want to be regulated by organisations who have been shown time and time again to be corrupt.

Strange the NHS are funding TCM, as I said earlier, and have been for years.

I only took one course of chinese herbs (1 month) as I personaly like to understand and recognise what I am taking,

language to difficult and never had time to learn.

Roche (drug company) obtains shikimic acid from the Chinese star anise in its Tamiflu, a herb I have used for years as a

    medicine.

This is true when combined but on its own it has helped many. Peole seem to be saying either placebo or very dangerous, I find this very curious.

Above is the link to the post taper , I presume is talking about, yes I quoted the website and have explained my reasons. Twice

this week also in the family room has this been mentioned, above all I cannot spend much time in front of a computer,

therefor I am quite computer illiterate, no I did not check this website but I recognised the info the page on the site that came up when I googled it.

How sad people will look back a year to find something to discredit, regardless of my explaining.

DC A good website for alternatives for travel vaccines is WTDWTY, (what the doctors dont tell you).

  8. Before I'd experienced reiki myself, I had been offered it (yes free) but never met anyone whom I felt I could totally feel

open to as I believe a connection, for me must be there. Then I met some fantastic people who gave there time for free, each

practicing diffrent forms of healing, giving a night where they offered there services to people who couldn't afford it.

And here I met a woman who was doing reiki, I never spoke to her, only watched her but knew absolutely I could let

myself go and totally open up. She spoke of a blockage in my heart area but did not know on what level. much more which I

won't go into only to say it fely imperative for my health that I met this woman.

Annaj speaks of physical and mental levels, of understanding the importance and what can be learned, but many people have

great understanding of this, now this may surprise the cynical and scientifically minded, but there are also many who find

conventional treatment does not offer help or recognise other levels. Of course individualism comes into it whether this

be a doctor, aromatherapist, herbalist etc. motives, delusions of granduer, often from people who regard themselves as

    experts, and of course money.

I had one more reiki with this woman, and these are my only experience but it had a huge affect on my life.

  9. narnia If its in his chest a mustard poultice is another good remedy, and the herbs are still on offer, myself and children believe they work, I have used them for years and years, some of them been given to me as a child, you are more than welcome.
  10. If your travelling with someone its not your personnel stories but theres lots too be learned, regardless whether it is a way

you agree with or not, it is important to not be judgemental however strongly you feel. I believe you cannot separate the

mind from the body, i think its about believing that people have a choice and supporting people through that choice.

  11. DC Have yoou read about Scott Reuben, the doctor who was jailed in June this year (6 months) for faking research on extremely dangerous drugs.

    http://www.gaia-health.com/articles251/000266-doctor-faked-research-on-drug-that-killed-thousands-gets-only-6-months.shtml

Heres a link. Regulators did not help in this case, in fact the drug company fought thousands of cases in court, and may I say,

through peoples personal experiences eg. dying. Millions of pounds have been paid and know one knows how many died.

Gateway clinic, the back of Lambeth hospital takes referrals from gp's, I was referred there in the 80's, they do acupuncture (free)

and at the time I went Chinese herbs. I don't know how it works now but they used to give a prescription for the herbs which

you had to hand in to a chinese herbalist in neal's yard, where you were given a big discount. Going from the link above

there may be a waiting list, but its handy to know if considering accupuncture. Kings College also done accupuncture

(western technique) through the pain clinic, again not sure if they still do this.
