Ditto - he did a good job for me in the past. I managed to speak to him recently for a quote but despite many messages, he never called back…

Does anyone have a bit of felt left from a project please? Thanks!

Good that PETA is on it but can we add our voices to the fight against this horrible practice? I’m still shocked!
A petition maybe?
Happy to raise to the RSPCA but don’t want to duplicate efforts. I’ve signed campaigns from RSPCA before which sends it directly to your councillor- 2

I’m now sharing my garden bin with my neighbour and so yes, hopefully it means less ugly bins on the street
Brace yourselves for the future price of food waste bins!

Sorry for your loss, Marnie was a very cute girl

If you can’t find anything, check https://stashbee.com/
It connects you to people renting spare rooms, lofts, sheds, garages etc locally

Southwark charges 20 garden waste bags for £30 and they would graciously collect them for ‘free’…. What a rip off! We’re now sharing the bin with our neighbours!

This forum!!! A Southwark treasure, though appreciate the borough does not have anything to do with it 😅

Thank you for your replies! I have posted them for free here

I still have a few Covid test kits.
I don’t believe they would catch a potential highly mutated virus now but any idea if/how those could still be useful? Or shall I just bin them?
Thanks 🙂

Sorry for your loss Jim

Thanks NewWave, I contacted them again after your note and whoever I talked to mentioned there is neither a pick up option nor drop off points 😬
Dress for Success is however moving near Farringdon station in May and this might be an easier drop off point. Will keep looking in the meantime 😊

Does anyone know about a LOCAL charity that specifically collects/needs women’s business clothes like smart dresses, suits etc. similar to Smart Works, Dress for success?
Thanks!

Thanks for the recommendation Leah! Went and really enjoyed it too!

Maybe try the second hand bookshop on Oglander road next to the print shop?
https://www.books-peckham.com/

Otherwise for a few books there are various community libraries, one of which is right next to the church on Copelston road

Petitou in Peckham has a nice vibe on sunday mornings. Get there first thing though, as it get busy after.

And where will we find these fascinating threads once the EDF has gone :(
I shall very much miss these!

Looking forward to go and get some proper Easter eggs at Melange Chocolate!
Is egg hunting inside the shop allowed? 😄
Trying to help support a fantastic local business and business owner
Happy Easter everyone 🐣🍫

Hi all - any recommendation for someone who could help with velux type windows leaking in my conservatory please?
The roofer who came said it was fixed but it isn?t and all the windows shops I contacted so far only do replacements not repairs.
I think it would only be a case of replacing the seal and having a tall ladder!
Thanks in advance for any pointers!!

Had a sneak preview of the Easter chocolates at Melange yesterday!
Got some lovely truffles again and some chocolate bars but the eggs are looking amazing! I?ll be back soon :)
