  1. Got an alert this evening that East Dulwich Picturehouse don't have any water and had to close. Wondering how long that will be and any other places affected...
  2. 6 x heavy cut glasses 120ml capacity, 16cm tall, 5cm width. Indicated as Edinburgh Crystal but not all clearly stamped. Ordered on ebay and realised had ordered small port / sherry glasses instead of wine glasses as intended. Absolutely beautiful and would be lovely for Christmas. Hoping to get £12 (cost me quite a bit more!). Pick up from SE22 near Alleyn's.
  3. Ordered on Ebay and does not fit sadly. Brand new with tags and is really lovely for special occasion and definitely a christmas do. Says size 4 but I would say it's more an 8-10. Hoping to get money back, so £15. Pick up near Alleyn's school in SE22. PM if interested.
  4. I have 2 tickets available for Nish Kumar's comedy show at Peckham Playground tonight 9th Oct 2025. Seats are Block: A - Row: G - Seats: 19 To 20. Tickets cost £55 with delivery. Happy to accept £45. Can email immediately (PDF) once payment received. https://peckhamplayground.seetickets.com/event/peckham-playground-nish-kumar/copeland-park/3458954
  5. I love Village Way. They are all really good in there, but my regular hairdresser is Victoria.
  6. The Georgian is nice for lunch as it's a bit quieter then and better service as a result. You can order a la carte. I have had mixed experiences, but last time I went for lunch, not long ago, the food was delicious and I think it's quite reasonable considering the cost of eating out these days. It's been open quite a while. Don't expect fancy - they have an offer for two pints of lager and a packet of crisps! But it's friendly and I really like the cosiness of the place which has more of a local and independent feel compared to so many places now. Definitely a bar and not a restaurant but the wraps sound good and are good value (although cheaper across the road).
  7. I think the Italian you are talking about was the old pizza place which is now closed and chicken shop in it's place? There is a nice Thai restaurant called Chern Thai on Grove Vale that should be open at lunchtime Saturday. I am veggie too btw. Peachy Goat in Herne Hill is good, but depends on the ask as it's kinda burgers and pasta and not the cheapest. I tried the Turkish in Herne Hill, Saray, round the corner Saturday before last and will be quiet but the owner is super sweet and it's not expensive. If you are happy with pizza / pasta, you could also do Dai Due Fratelli which is good food, friendly and attentive service at good prices on Lordship Lane.
  8. Oh, sorry, I thought they were taking over the old Barcelona site opposite the old Harvester?
  9. Interested what the new Turkish restaurant is near the Plough? You don't mean the bar, Victus & Bibo as I think that is what took over the Le Moulin site? It's a nice bar that serves Turkish wraps. Haven't tried Love Dulwich yet, but been to Viet Flavours. Sadly found it rather loud, squished and a little pricey for the food.
  10. Went actually for the first time yesterday. Terrific food, so was well pleased. Agree with previous poster to support.
  11. Fab, I will check that out, thank you Thanks but assume would just go to landfill then if not good condition. I will take a look, thanks
  12. It's not for recycling but for good quality clothes. And sadly always overflowing onto the pavement. Appreciate your response. Ace, I didn't know that. Thank you. Great, will check that out. Thanks for that. I did look on there but it wasn't terribly clear.
  13. Hi. Does anyone know if there are any textile recycling bins nearby? I've searched on Google for options but not clear results and the recycling center doesn't have this. Have old used material that can't be resold.
  14. Yup and not byob anymore although some people still appear to do so 😅
