  1. Thanks for the suggestions, I had ALD come pick up lots of donations last week. Very simple, no fuss, recommended.
  2. Indigo is the one that does car hire for new drivers from Gatwick too. Saying that, City is probably easier for me to get too - thanks!
  3. I recently passed my driving test with one minor driving fault. Would like to drive now and again with a rental rather than buying a car. But I can't seem to find any rentals which hire to new drivers that have had their license for less than 12months... and the one company I did find is based at Gatwick which is a bit of a trek away. Anyone come across this issue before and find any rentals / peer-to-peer companies for new drivers? Also should mention I'm over 30.
  4. Thanks everyone, will try Ald Life and see if they will collect. For the pillows/duvets etc. I heard that some cats and dogs homes may want them. Has anyone any experience and know if they will collect?
  5. Hi, I have nine bags of clothes and some bags of old bedding/pillows etc. I'd like to donate these to charity but don't have a car to transport (so clothes donation bins are a no go). Anyone know the best way for me to do this? I've already contacted Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers a couple of weeks ago but got no response, and don't want to resort to putting them in the bags that come through the door, as I read that hardly any of the money goes to charity. I'm based at HOP. Help?
