  1. Saied was here for four days, trimming overgrown shrubs, taming overhanging trees, buying flowering plants and bedding them in. Then he turned his attention to the front garden, tidying it up and then planting our windowboxes. Finally he replaced a rotting fence panel. This is the fifth or sixth time he's been here over the years, and each time I marvel anew at his diligence and his work ethic, as well as his profound knowledge. On top of everything he's a really lovely man! I have absolutly no hesitation in recommending him, whether you need a complete garden makeover or just a bit of help with keeping on top of things. Thank you, Saied, as always, and see you next time!
  2. Same here - no deliveries to my address in SE22 8UQ for nearly 2 weeks now. I've e-mailed our MP, Helen Hayes, who's written to Royal Mail to demand an explanation and a timeline for resumption of normal service. It's not just the disappointment of no Christmas post, it's the anxiety that one may be missing important time-limited official documents. When I asked if I could go in person to collect my post from the sorting office, I was met with no answer...
  3. Two or three times a year I ask Saied and Richard to come over and tidy up my garden. It's not large, but it has several mature bushes and small trees which can rapidly get out of hand. Saied was last here just before Christmas, and as well as a tidy-up then he planted about 100 bulbs, which gave some wonderful colour through spring and early summer. After he worked for about 6 hours today the garden has opened up and can now breathe again! He'll be back in about 2 weeks to plant some late summer and autumn colour (I tend to give him a budget and trust to his good sense and taste!) and I'll report back then, with some photos.
  4. Saied and his team have just finished 2 days'work in my front and back gardens. Usually he comes here 2 or 3 times a year to keep on top of things, but because of Covid I haven't been able to ask him over in more than a year, so various bushes were overgown and looking a bit bedraggled. What a transformation! All trimmed and tidied, then I gave him a budget to buy some winter-colour plants and left it to his good taste and keen eye to choose what would work. He also planted about 100 bulbs for spring and summer next year, so there'll be some surprises later! Five stars all round, more if I could. He really knows his stuff, is happy to share information, and is also a thoroughly nice and sympathetic person. Thank you again - and see you in the spring!
  5. Yet again I add my recommendation for Saied and his assistant Richard: I ask them to come round three or four times a year to tidy up my relatively small front and back gardens, trim back any overgrown bushes, and suggest new planting appropriate to the season. They work tirelessly for he day they're here, and by the end the gardens are transformed into showpieces! And they're both lovely people! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
  6. I can only add to all the praise on these pages for Saied and his assistant Richard. My front and back gardens are small, but thanks to their immaculate work it all looks perfect. I ask them to come over 4 or 5 times a year for a general tidy, and also give Saied a budget for planting and leave it to him to decide what looks right and is seasonally appropriate. I'm delighted to recommend him unreservedly, while at the same time hoping he doesn't become SO popular that he can't fit in small jobs! In passing, I should mention that he's also a delightful and loving man who's been a great support to me since I lost my beloved Janet last year.
  7. Janet and I have just had Saied and his assistant Richard over to strip out our overgrown and messy front garden, lay a weed barrier and then gravel and stones ready to receive a mixture of pots, planters and shrubs. At the same time they tidied up our back garden, gave general advice, and even went and did some grocery shopping for us! All done in 5 days, with unfailing good humour and obvious love for the work. Saied is a lovely, gentle man, who, when he became aware that Janet is sadly ill with an incurable condition, offered support, love and prayers as well as carrying out the work he was there to do. I can't stress enough how much we both appreciated this, and I have no hesitation is recommending Saied for any jobs big or small in your garden. You'll be in safe hands and end up realising that there are still lovely and loving people in this world! Thank you.
