  2. Hello A few parcels have gone missing this year, that was meant to be delivered to me, four in total. Two now in December and apparently it's all been delivered, I just don't know where or whom to. The thing is, RM has not left any card saying it's been delivered to neighbours because it's just regular first class post. So I was wondering if anyone else has the same issue or has picked my parcels and has it stored waiting for me to Collect?? I understand it's confusing for RM when one building has four entrances to accommodate the flats but it can't be that hard to figure it out if you go by flat number!! PM if any clues

  4. The same happen on East Dulwich road as it stretches all the way to Nunhead. Early in the morning and late at night is like living on a motorway edge. Noise pollution reach its peak and you can smell the fumes too! Most definitely agree with the speed cameras and also speed bumps. I have wrote to council several times and never got decent reply. Maybe is worth putting a petition up?
  5. Found this morning photo zip oyster card. First name is Alfie. Please PM if it's your kids oyster otherwise I will leave it at east dulwich station this weekend.

  7. Hi all , I guess I didn't expressed myself very well, Our previous property was also on the main road, in fact also a A-road with 24hrs bus and emergency services. The diference was there was quite a few speed bumps and cameras. Plus we work in the city and used to heavy traffic noises. So my main concern it's really why drivers are speeding on such residential areas, specially motorbikes, and obvs if we will get used to it at night - day time is fine. I am a driver myself and when driving around the area the other weekend got bullied for driving on the speed limit! thank you for the actual constructive replies. Just wanted to see if anymore people have the same concern and found a easy solution. Anyway , the thick curtain seems to be a good idea for now, we will look into it. Have a nice week!
  8. Hello, Just recently moved to East Dulwich Road, 3 months ago, and we are finding very difficult to get used to the traffic noise, which is very loud and constant. It seems like drives do not keep on / under the 20mph speed limit. We have double glazed windows but still. In the evenings noise varies from 50db to 70db - not including police and ambulances sirenes. Has this subject been raised before? Has anyone found a solution? Really appreciate of any advice. Many thanks, C
