PIANO TEACHER (Composition and Theory tutor) I am a Classically trained music tutor here in Dulwich with extensive experience in tutoring music from beginners to advanced, from grade 1 to beyond grade 8, from primary to adult learners. I am available for which ever combination of the flowing subjects are needed during our lessons times. -Piano lessons -Composition lessons -Music Theory lessons -Academic Music tutoring My fee will be ?20 a lesson up to an hour. My lessons have a great emphasis on creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere where the full potential and needs of the student can be fulfilled. All ABRSM grades in piano performance are available. English and Music Tutor I have experience teaching English literature through private tuition up to A level standard . I have also taught English language to foreign students. This included improving their conversational English as well as working with their reading comprehension and pronunciation. With one student in particular I have worked with improving my former students' English skills, with a focus on building their self-confidence in preparation for a series of lectures that they where required to give as part of their studies at the Sibelius Academy. I also have extensive experience in private tutoring in Piano, Composition and Music Theory as well as experience in leading musical outreach groups to local primary schools to engage and educate children about music. As a team leader I have organised appropriate performances for the children and planned demonstrations and interactive musical activities - culminating in a children's performance. I have studied at the Sibelius Academy and the University of York and I am currently studying for my masters at the Royal Academy of Music.
