  1. Thanks for the advice! You're right it is Oakfield prep school (nursery) he's joining. Only 3 days a week though. I've heard the parking can be a nightmare and I'm a new driver, so that will be interesting :-) I think it'll be a bit of trial and error to see what I can tolerate stress wise! Currently thinking train in the morning, car in the afternoon! Or someone suggested parking near the toll road and walking for 10/15 mins (which is what we'd have to do to get to Penge East anyway).
  2. Thanks! I can either go via kirkdale/the horinman and then join the south circular or via gypsy hill/croxted road. The school is pretty much at West Dulwich station. I think I'll try out the various options, probably the car first as I get used to the logistics of having 2 children and then test out the train if, like my son, the baby hates the car seat!
  3. Is the traffic horrendous between Sydenham and Dulwich during the time of the school run 8.30 / 3.30? How long are we talking about? 30 mins? My 2.5 year old starts nursery in September and I'm debating whether to take the train (Penge East - West Dulwich) or drive (we're just off Sydenham high street). I'll have a newborn in tow and will need a pushchair so debating whether or not to brave the stairs and the commuter train! Thanks
