Don't have time to attend this meeting. How about some action / recognition of the criminal gang operating on Upland / Friern road where multiple family 4 x 4s have been stolen just this week. -

I have installed additional cameras. What baffles me is how easy it must be for them to sell the cars on the black market. That must be where the authorities focus their efforts. One would assume they are taken out the country on shipping containers. -

I'm so sorry to hear that, our Land Rover was also taken from Upland road on new years day. Police have got no clue. It's clear as day whats happening in our area. Our car was taken in broad daylight. -

Luckily we have a tracker and quickly retrieved it ourselves. The car was taken and dumped on the corner of Court Lane and Druce Road. It is a family 4x4 with keyless entry. The keys are kept in a (tested and working) RFID blocking pouch when not in use. This means the thieves likely waited to intercept the signal when the keys were used by us, and probably then able to clone it to obtain access. We usually have a stop-lock, but unfortunately left it off this night by mistake. Please remain vigilant all !

Clean flat with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Clean and wipe kitchen and utility room. Clean showers, sinks and bathrooms. Hoover or sweep & mop floors throughout (hardwood). Someone who is good at general tidying and can develop understanding of where to move stuff. Wipe down skirting boards and clean windows now and then. This can take up to 3.5 hours and we would like this once per week. Mondays or tuesdays after 9am suits best.

Looking for someone who has experience installing door entry systems. I.e. having a phone inside the house where you can talk to the person outside, push a button to buzz them in and unlock the door. The door is a wooden outdoor gate. Already have cables wired in right up to the gate from the house. Not sure if a job for electrician or if there are people out there with recommendation.

Looking for someone to install a dryer in a difficult space where cabinets may need to be cut and/or pipes may need to be moved?

Did anyone just hear a gunshot ring out?
EDNate replied to rimi_monster's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Yes I heard it last night. I am on Upland Road. I was dozing off and it made me jump up in bed. -
You've got no problem with Divali fireworks I assume , or end of Eid ? I also assume you wouldn't make such a comment about those for fear of not being PC. There are people of many nationalities and cultures in British society. Americans as well. I agree 10pm is quite late, but it is summer and it gets dark very late doesn't it.

I've signed you petition, but feel it would be valuable to get more information. Do you have any statistics or information comparing London to that of other comparable large cities in the world? What is the situation in New York, Paris, Chicago Tokyo ? Do those cities have large residential areas that suffer from the levels of air and noise pollution we face in London and in particular Dulwich ?
