  1. Hi Joe. The issue I mentioned last week is still happening. Anything I should be doing to ensure PMs do not sit in my outbox? Thanks.
  2. Hi Joe, love the new website and thank you for keeping EDF going. I have an issue with PMs. Some messages immediately go and I can see them in my sent box, but others stay in my outbox. What am I doing wrong? Thanks so much.
  3. Has anyone used a fabulous cleaning team for an end-of-tenancy deep clean? It's for a 4 bedroom house so prefer a team of people to tackle the job in one day. Would love personal recommendations. Thanks!
  4. 12 ponies and unicorns. Lots of lovely hair to brush and style. Looking for ?10 ono. Collection close to east Dulwich train station. Can deliver if not too far. Thanks
  5. Hi, As Year 6 graduation present, our daughter would like to get her ears pierced. Can anyone recommend a good place to have this done? Thanks!
  6. Thanks so much Penguin68. Unfortunately, one can continue to test positive for 90 days after a positive case of Covid. When I spoke to our GP surgery earlier today, they confirmed this. Of course, one isn't contagious but the virus just remains in the system. Makes it a bit difficult for travel!
  7. Hi, Has anyone recently recovered from Covid and then flown to the US? We're hoping to travel at Christmas but won't be able to take a PCR test before travel as we'll still test positive for Covid then (it will be within the 90 days from our positive Covid test). The US says we need a letter from a healthcare provider proving a recovery from Covid but our GP surgery has just confirmed that they won't provide said letter. Not sure how we get around this! Any advice warmly welcomed. Thank you!
  8. Is anyone aware of any forest based summer camps? Jolly Foresters is completely booked but looking for something along these lines for an 8 and 10 year old. Thanks!
  9. R. Woodfall on Lordship Lane has been brilliant with my children (ages 9 and 7).
  10. Does anyone know which shops are accepting World Book Day tokens? Most of the usual suspects are closed so looking for other options. Thanks!
  11. Hi, Thinking ahead to the summer and my daughter and son (ages 10 and 8) are interested in doing a cricket club. Has anyone had a good experience? Would love any suggestions! Thanks so much.
  12. Hello, Do you by any chance know of any reasonably priced sewing classes for children? I have a 9 year old who would love to progress her skills. Thanks!
  13. We couldn't agree more with all of the previous comments. Stephen was wonderful! From start to finish, we were utterly impressed by his professionalism, his attention to detail and his superb quality of work. He happily dropped off numerous samples to us, he worked around date changes, he kindly came back to readjust something when we changed our minds. We couldn't be happier with our carpets and will recommend him to everyone!
  14. Hi, Has anyone had a front path paved recently and would you recommend the person who did it? We need to have the area in front of our house paved. Would love suggestions. Thanks!
  15. Hi, We've just had a super carpenter names Rytas do built-in wardrobes, cupboard shelves, a tricky boxing-in of pipes and a repair of steps/risers. He was excellent! Absolutely lovely to work with with fabulous prices. We highly recommend him! Rytas - 07723 925118
  16. We highly, highly recommend Kenon's Plumbers on Old Kent Road. It's a small family owned business and Sam knows his merchandise inside and out. The prices are extremely competitive and the quality/customer service is super. It's the kind of place that you need to visit and Sam will walk you through everything. We recommended that a friend use them and they were so delighted with things that she baked him homemade biscuits as a thank you!
  17. We've used Winkworth on Lordship Lane for years and have been incredibly pleased.
  18. I'd love to recommend Aaron for any sort of plastering work you may have. He just completed a job for us and we were hugely impressed by him. One of the rooms was extremely tricky, with a ceiling that needed massive repairs. Aaron came up with a brilliant solution to the problem and did a fabulous job. From start to finish, he was extremely good at explaining things to us (this involved numerous text messages and a lengthy phone call before he started the work in order for us to understand the pros and cons of different approaches). He was absolutely lovely to have around whilst working in the house. He even cleaned up beautifully, hoovering rooms and the hallway! We couldn't recommend him more highly and will use him for any future jobs. Aaron's number is 07773 410 661.
  19. We'd also like to add our highest recommendation for Elliot. He just completed three sets of bookcases for us. From start to finish, Elliot was not only a delight to work with but the quality of his finished product is outstanding. Elliot visited us three times before installing the bookcases, working with us to achieve exactly what we wanted. Whilst installing the bookcases, he was extremely tidy, leaving the sitting room spotlessly clean. Elliot takes great pride in his work and there's no doubt we will hire him again for any future work!
  20. Hi, We're thinking of installing a Benchmarx kitchen. Has anyone installed one and if so, what is your experience with it? Would love your opinions, negative and positive. Thanks!
  21. Steve has recently painted a one bedroom flat for us. He's done a brilliant job, returning several times to perfect his work (at his insistence, not ours!) He has been lovely to deal with, from beginning to end. He has stayed in very close contact with us, always updating on progress. We highly recommend him!!
  22. Hi, We're looking for a tree surgeon to take out a middle sized tree in the garden. We'd love a recommendation if anyone has one! Huge thanks.
