So many scam builder salesmen😫

We have had 1-2 of these vile conmen knocking at our door pretty much every week for months now. I send reports to the police with their photos, hopefully something gets done about it. I recommend just not opening your door until you know it's a genuine caller & going through your smart doorbell footage (if you have one) to report them. Do report to both the regular Police & SNT & hopefully some of these turds in human form get locked up. -
Laundrette on grove vale

It is rather expensive - £1 for 6 mins of drying, compared to 10 mins at the [much missed] Wash & Dry is just money grabbing, plus the machines are old leaving you having to pay even more to get things like towels dry. There's also nowhere to sit so unless you drive there, not much fun on a rainy day... -

to clarify it's CASH ONLY at DKH right now & the ATM is out of order too. Went to Morrisons instead - no issues there. -
Sat afternoon Lordship Lane.. Police incident.
GooseGreenGoods replied to I hammer's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It all looked quite dramatic, rather worrying there wasn't more of a Police prescence with people wandering towards the scene. Bus drivers were not at all happy about having to reverse into side roads to go back up LL! -
hi bob, what's your issue & system type? I've been building & repairing desktops since the 386 days : )

I'd also like to thank everyone who has posted about James Seth in this thread (and others). We had an issue with our RCD tripping in our consumer box (fuse box) which was knocking off the heating and everything else apart from the lighting. Despite being Christmas week, James came round the next day (had only contacted him yesterday evening) as soon as he was available. After talking through the issue, he went right to work with investigating all possible causes and managed to come up with a solution. I was floored by James' kindness and generosity and would 100% recommend him to anyone in need of electrical work, big or small. As mentioned previously, he can be contacted by phone/text/WhatsApp on 07816160353. Thank you James for all of your hard work and support!
