I am at the planning stage of an extension project and a structural engineer is someone who I need to talk to. To manage costs I am having to consider management of the project myself, so I am currently in the process of getting approximate quotes from all trades. Once I have all the quotes, and an approximate total, I will be able to decide whether or not to commit to the formal architectural/structural drawing, planning application etc. Would be great to have a chat about your services and my plans. FYI: My plans are to have an L-shaped extension to a garden floor in a victorian house converted into two flats. I have my initial draft plans (accessible online) which I've been using to talk as accurately as possible with other trades. How best should we get in contact from here?
