Rock School is a four-day holiday workshop held at the The Ivy House in Nunhead in which myself and three other DBS-checked professional musicians will help your child learn covers, write their own songs and play in a band with other children their age. Hi Yoshimi, Due to high demand we actually have quite a broad age range, with the youngest attendee being 7 and the oldest being 16. As such we'll be streaming the bands by age so no one feels out of their depth. All four facilitators are experienced musicians and music tutors and we'll be able to make sure any child, regardless of ability level, will be taught how to contribute to their band. The main aim is for the attendees to learn how to play music together and perform, so technical skill is not important.
