Hello, Just wondered if anyone might be able to offer some advice on this. We are doing a bathroom refit and are debating going for either Glass Wall Panels or Acrylic/PVC option as opposed to tiles around the bath. You seem to get a greater scope of colours with Glass however I have been told the Acrylic/PVC options is more durable, cheaper and easier to fit. I have no idea what is the best option and also I would appreciate recommendations for suppliers of the above products as their seems to be a lot of providers but I am not sure about the quality although I note "Lustrolite" has been recommended as an acrylic option but they don't have many colours. Hi, we have found out that the existing loft conversion in the property we have bought has major issues regarding plumbing and installation. Certificates were in place from building control and council. We need to basically get it redone. Not sur if we have any recourse or what's the best way of getting the work rectified. Appreciate any help anyone might b able to offer. Thanks L

Hello, Just wanted to get some advice on this. We moved into a Victorian Terrace with an existing loft conversion. It's not a dormer and we have now found out the conversion has a number of issues because it was done on the cheap. We have looked into getting it corrected. We also got a quote for a side return. We can't afford to get both done but wondered where the money would be best spent. At present we have one child so space isn't a huge issue. Is having a larger communal living area a better investment than having a larger bedroom with a bigger ensuite? Has anyone been in a similar position. Would appreciate your views

Hello, We have Angel Care motion sensor. We have a large cotbed and followed the instructions I.e placed in the centre of the mattress with a piece of plywood. My little one rolls around a lot in her sleep and the monitor keeps going off. It's driving me mad as its constant false alarms. My lO sleeps in her own room so we have to get up to switch it off. Just wondered if anyone had any troubleshooting tips for this? Getting to the point I want to switch it off!!

Hello we are thinking of having our hallway tiled with small victorian tiles to match the outside path.Can anyone recommend a professional who can do this? I also wanted to recommend Seema. I normally use her for threading for my eyebrows and she always does a great job but this week I had a leg and bikini wax. Seema was meticulous and made me feel very comfortable even when I was having my intimate areas done. She is also really fantastic value for money. It would have cost me double in a salon. Hello I have a 6 month old. Since she was born my husband and I have only been out once for a few hours while my parents babysat on a visit home. I have no family within the vicinity of where I live. We would like to have an evening off but because my little one is so small I can't bear the thought of leaving her with a third party. Just wanted to know if anyone had there little ones babysat and how they found it?I am greeting to stage where I need to consider this as I will need to pop into work etc over the next few months and don't have anyone I can really rely on locally. Would appreciate any help or advice you can offer.

Hello we moved into a house which already had a loft conversion but we would like to turn this into a Dorma to give us more space. Does anyone know if this is viable? Will we need to be planning permission or building control? Also is it better to use the same company who did the origional conversion? I would prefer to use another company personally. I have just had my first LO and have found myself feeling very similar. I joined baby groups, did nct but like everything it takes a while to get to know people and I find I have to make a real effort. It's tiring. The nice thing is with old friends you don't have to make to make an effort. It's relaxed and easy. A lot of my friends have had kids but I don't see them as much as I would like. Everyone is time short. I am not back at work yet and have to remind myself this is a special time which I won't get back but it's hard sometimes...
